"Hyunjin, are you sure it's not closed? It's past 10." Seungmin rattled the chains blocking the entrance.
"How can one close such art away from the eager eyes of the people?" Hyunjin sang, swiftly crawling under the chains and inside the apparently opened doors. While everyone stared at each other for a few moments, they all collectively and silently followed Hyunjin anyway.
The museum was dark, the only sound being of multiple feet shuffling on the floor, sometimes squeaking loudly.
"Who wants to play Night In The Museum?" Hyunjin stopped walking, face half illuminated by the few streams of moonlight from the window.
"What the fuck, I'm out of here." Gabi mumbled under her breath, Jisung silently clutching her hand, gesturing her to stay.
"Is this why you brought us here?" Felix questioned, shaking his head in disapproval.
"Come on~ it's a once in a lifetime experience." Hyunjin drawled, clapping his hands to show his excitement.
"Sure, why not?" Meenakshi and Minho both replied simultaneously, just noticing that their shoulders were touching, before quickly shuffling away.
"That's the spirit!" Hyunjin dragged the group through the dark hallways, everyone following the light blindly.
"Here! Here's perfect!" Hyunjin exclaimed, turning off his flashlight, plunging the room in darkness. It seemed to them that they were near artifacts, as Abhigna could feel the smooth carvings of facial features under her fingertips. She quickly froze, hearing Hyunjin finish counting. She knew this was a very bad idea, but who was she if she didn't laugh in the face of danger? Her fingers slightly gripped the artifact, the velvet rope stanchions jingling slightly. Hyunjin skipped over, eyes squinting in the dark.
"Are you moving?" Hyunjin asked, to which Abhigna shook her head.
"Cool." Hyunjin nodded before walking away. Realization struck the both of them as Hyunjin walked back. "You moved." Abhigna said nothing, hands gripping the artificial face tightly. Hyunjin leaned closer, eyes able to make out Abhigna's still pupils calmly staring back at him. Hyunjin stretched his arm outwards to lean on something he assumed was a pillar, knocking down the artifact.
The shattering resounded throughout the room, before Hyunjin muttered an "oops".
"Who was that?" The guard cried, his footsteps growing heavier and louder every second.
"Fuck fuck fuck." Chan pulled out his phone's flashlight, and motioned everyone to the exit. A not needed bus being scratched on the road sounding alarm rang, the group running through the dark halls of the museum, their giggles and relieved sighs being the loudest noise after they managed to run as far as they could under the glistening moonlight.
