Jack's Point of view
Jack was sitting in his room writing. He was waiting for his father to get back from last nights hunt. Many people got very worried when the hunters left yet Jack never really was.
He knew that the only thing that was strong enough and smart enough to kill his father was the Rayitor and there hadn't been any signs of it in months. Plus he knew some secrets about when this creature hunted that his father didn't know about.
A sound came from outside and he glanced out his window to see the hunters coming through the front gate of the village dragging a large sled with three Secitors laid on the top.
That was his sign. He closed his journal and placed the feather in the ink before grabbing his sweater and going to meet his father outside.
When he got down to his father he made sure everyone had made it back safely and then said goodbye to his father before leaving to "train" in the training area just outside of the village in the forest, though he never really went there.
He stepped out, out of the gate onto the path that lead into the forest and soon faded into grass. Finally, Freedom.
Author Speaking! I know the chapters are kind of short but I hope you still enjoy!
