Jack's Point of view

He walked quickly, back toward the village. He was very deep in the forest currently. He quickly made sure he looked normal.

Chief: Jack! What the hell are you doing out here! This forest is dangerous you could get yourself killed!!

Jack: Dad! H-how'd you- why are you all the way out here.

Chief: when you went to "train" I went to the house. I noticed you left your sword so I went to go give it to you. But you weren't there.

Chief: you have a lot of explaining young man. But we'll talk about this when we get back to the village, it's not safe out here.

Back at the village Jack's father scolded Him for wandering into the dangerous forest. And once again explained that the forest was filled with terrible beasts that would kill him before he even got the chance to realize he wasn't alone. His father told him not to leave his room till he said he could.

Jack waited in his room the rest of the day, all night, and into the next morning.

By now he was starving and he had to do something. He quietly snuck out and into the forest. He ran as quickly as possible without even paying attention to where he was going.

He had been so unfocused that he hadn't even noticed the large trap set up on the ground until it snapped shut tightly onto his leg, like a crocodile snapping onto its prey. Jack& fell to the ground.
