Mark's Point of view

Mark had been wandering in the forest for the rest of the day and night, unable to find a way out. Luckily he hadn't seen the terrifying creature again. He did find that a large group of hunters set out at night, yet he was smarter than that. He wouldn't get caught by hunters.

He walked through the forest that for some reason was completely silent till a loud screech, from an unknown creature shattered it. Mark knew better than to go toward sound but for some reason he broke the rules...again.

He quietly walked through the woods for a couple minutes till he found the source of the noise.

The screech had been from the terrifying creature. Yet the creature didn't look terrifying anymore, instead it seemed like it was in pain.

Mark kept his distance but circled around the beast. He noticed that it had gotten its leg stuck in a hunters trap. Though he usually wouldn't, for some reason Mark felt bad for the beast.

Mark sighed, annoyed with himself, more than the creature. He cautiously walked up to the creature's injured leg. Yet the second he touched the trap the creature snapped around at him before recoiling back in pain.

Mark: sh, sh. It's okay, I'm not trying to hurt you. I want to help..

The creature seemed to understand and allowed Mark to remove the trap. Though it whimpered in pain as he did.

After getting the trap off Mark carefully wrapped the creatures leg, And helped the creature to a small cave to rest for awhile.

Mark lit a fire and made sure the entrance of the cave was hidden enough. He even gave the creature its own small corridor that branched off from the main part of the cave.

Mark cooked food over the fire and gave it to the creature as well as fresh water and a large fur blanket to lay on the hard ground for some comfort. He even carefully hung some torches up to keep the creatures corridor warm.
