Nancy wheeler

Chapter 1

As Nancy pulled over the heavy covers and got up out of bed, she checked the clock to realise she only had 20 minutes to get ready and eat breakfast.
She rushed downstairs and said hello to her mum who was making waffles and feeding them to Hollie. She nicked one of her little sisters waffles and walked out the door without even saying goodbye or good morning.

As she arrived at school she walked over to Steve and the group, Steve was Nancy's boyfriend but Nancy didn't really like him, not because of anything bad she just wasn't really into him.
Instead she wanted someone more quieter and a bit more mysterious.

After wills disappearance shocked the whole town Nancy was slightly worried about if someone that was important to her got taken away as well, she couldn't bare that, in fact it was the one thing she hated most. Loosing someone. She didn't want to see the look on her mums face if mike disappeared. She didn't want to see the look on barbs parents face if she disappeared.
Barb was Nancy's best friend but things got distant when she got with Steve, Nancy became a lot more popular and Barb was what you would call a "typical nerd". Barb had glasses and was always seen carrying books around, she had a slight ginger tint in her hair with freckles scattered over her face.

She shook all the dark thoughts out of her mind and walked to english, English was one of Nancy's favourite lessons because she liked to write down anything her mind could think off and it would help her on her journey to becoming one of the best reporters in town.

In English they were learning about Shakespeare, Nancy thought it was very strange how Romeo was a sixteen  year old boy and fell in love with a thirteen year old girl. The age gap was slightly uncomfortable for her.

The bell rang which snapped Nancy out of her thoughts, she picked up her books and placed them into her satchel and began to walk to the cafeteria.
She sat next to Steve and called Barb over to come sit with them, she knew Barb didn't really like Steve and his crew but barb was the only person who would make the day quicker, Steve tapped Nancy on the shoulder."do you want to come over for a party tomorrow with the crew" Steve said as he sipped his drink,
"Sure, can barb come?"Nancy asked.
She knew barb would absolutely hate this idea but she needed someone to stop her from doing anything bad if she got drunk.
Steve hesitantly nodded his head while Nancy was asking if it was okay with barb.
"Come on barb just this once" Nancy said
"Fine but only because I don't want anything bad to happen to you" barb explained

A few hours later
School finished and Nancy walked of home as she saw mike and his friends biking in the distance. When she arrived she walked up into her room and flopped down onto her bed and decided to ring barb, she put in barbs number on the telephone and they had a talk for about 2 hours until she got interrupted by Dustin.

"Hey, Nancy there is a slice left if you want it, sausage and pepperoni" Dustin said with a big smile on his face.
Nancy stood up walked over to him and shut the door, she did feel bad after it but she was to busy taking with barb.
