I just looked at the creature in shock as it looked around my room. "How do you know I'm not really human!?" I asked after I got over my shock. The creature just stared at me with a calm look in its eyes before answering. "As the Kawmi of the Miraculous of the Dragon I have the power to know the whereabouts of all species of dragons, even if they're not from this World. That and your wings, horns, and tail were a dead give-away. I'm Tappi by the way." The creature, now known as Tappi, explained to me.
"Kwami, Miraculous of the Dragon? What is up with my day today?! First I found out that the parent teacher conference is really a cover up for an investigation, then a villain calling themselves Talons of Power mind controlled one of my friends into a villain and turns him part wolf, and now there's a Deadly Nadder-like creature called a Kwami in my room!" I started to freak out.
Tappi then came up to me, landed on my shoulder, and started rubbing their wing against my chin to calm me down, and it was working. "Thanks. I needed that." I said, petting the top of Tappi's head with my finger in thanks. "Don't mention it. Now, what's this about someone turning your friend half wolf and controlling his mind?" Tappi said, flying off of my shoulder to in front of me so I can see him(?)better.
"The news said that, according to a witness, Talons of Power used a red scale called a Riki to do whatever he did to Bakugou." When I was finished, Tappi looked at me with wide eyes. "Just as the Guardians feared. Someone is using the Imp Miraculous for evil, and they probably have the Scorpion Miraculous. Oh poor Tricks and Dokku." Tappi said.
"Wait! So you're saying that whatever Talons of Power did to Bakugou is because of one of these Miraculous thingys?!" I said, almost yelling. Tappi nodded his head before explaining what the Miraculouses were, what are Kwamis and their connection to the Miraculous, and what each Miraculous power is. He also explained how two of the Miraculouses were missing. When he was finished I started to put the pieces together.
"So let me get this straight. Talons of Power is really someone who found the missing Imp Miraculous, and probably the Scorpion Miraculous as well, and is using it for his own gain. And another Kwami told the Guardians of your Miracle box, you still have to tell me who they are, that they sensed him activate it." I said to Tappi as I sat down on my bed, beside the box that holds what I know is the Dragon Miraculous.
Tappi nodded his head before I continued. "So the Guardians chose me and one other person to be the holders of your Miraculous and the Miraculous of the Lynx so we can save Talons of Power's victims, find his secret hideout, and take back the Imp and Scorpion Miraculouses. And we have to do all that while making sure Talons of Power doesn't take ours? And we can't reveal our identities to each other?" As I finished I crossed my arms and looked at Tappi.
"Yes, that is correct." Tappi said as he went to sit down on the railing at the head of my bed. "There's something else about the Dragon and Lynx Miraculouses, isn't there?" I asked Tappi, quirking my eyebrow. Tappi just looked at me before answering. "Yes, there is. In almost every Mircle box, there are two Miraculouses that represent Yin and Yang, like the Dragon Miraculous and the Lynx Miraculous. And if someone uses both of them at the same time their greatest wish will be granted. And since we don't know what Talons of Power's intentions are, we can't let him get a hold of them."
When Tappi was finished I looked over at the Dragon Miraculous. 'I have to do this. If I don't, who knows what will happen to Bakugou.' I thought as I picked up the bracelet. It had blue, white, and yellowish-brown beads, only two of them were orange. There were five small, golden spike charms on it as well.
