Chapter 4|| Hand holding

"Lori please! The guys are gonna be there too! Then you get to see Mario again" *wink wink* I roll my eyes at her and shake my head no. Currently Mariam and Mary-Ann were trying to get me to go to the fair with them and the guys. But right now I was really tired and didn't feel like going high up in the air to the point where my stomach feels twisted enough to make me sick. "Lori please! Lucas is expecting me to be there and I'm sure Mario wants you to come as well." Why do they keep bringing up Mario? Do they think I like him or something? I groan and go upstairs and quickly change. I walk back downstairs and the girls look very happy. "Oh thank you Lori!" Mary-Ann pulls me into a hug and we head out to the car. I sit in the passenger seat, Mariam drives and Mary-Ann sits in the back.

When we arrive at the fair we have to look around for the guys before we find them sitting at a beach, talking. Lucas and Mary -Ann kiss which make me grimace. I see Mario stand in front of me and my disgusted look turns into a smile. I hug him and we go to the rides. We start with the Ferris wheel so we can see the pretty view of the whole fair. Everyone made me and Mario sit together while Mary-Ann sat with Lucas(as per usual) and Mariam sat with Zach(now that was new). Although I was somewhat afraid of heights I enjoyed the view of the fair from the height. I could see out of the town from how far up I was.

After the Ferris wheel Mariam wanted to go on a roller coaster. I agreed but she took us to 'real scream' one of the roller coasters with the biggest drop ever. I try to stay back but Mariam and Mary-Ann pulled me into the waiting line. I was going to kill myself. Why couldn't I stay back? She smiles. "Because. You need to learn how to have fun." I groan and we wait in line for the coaster. When it was our turn to get on I sat next to Mario, Mary sat next to Lucas and Mariam sat next to Zach which she wasn't happy about.

I double checked to make sure I was locked in properly. I was not trying to fall off of this roller coaster. The ride started up and I tried my hardest not to look down. Mario's hand was right next to mine so if I needed too I would just grab it and hold onto it. As Friends. It wouldn't be I liked him or anything. I sucked in a breath as the ride went higher and higher into the air. The ride comes to a halt as I shut my eyes tight and pray that I don't loose my life. I open my eyes again and made the mistake of looking down. We were so high up. The drop was coming. I grabbed Mario's hand and sucked in a huge breath. The drop came and I let out the loudest shriek while my grip on Mario's hand tightens. His thumb gently caressed the back of my hand and he screamed in joy. How could anyone have fun on a ride like this? The ride had multiple different drops. High ones. Low ones and on every single one i got even more sick.

When we finally got off the ride I ran straight to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. Gross. I flushed it down and walked out to the sink. I wiped my mouth with some water and walked out of the bathroom. "Finally." Mary-Ann says and I roll my eyes. I make my way next to Mario. "I think you broke my hand Lori.." I smile apologetically and take his hand in mine, softly caressing it. He smiles at me and links his fingers with mine. We walk to the next roller coaster ride with a less drop. But it did have a part where you went upside down. I think that was okay. I hope.

We wait in line for the ride the rest of us talking (minus me) while Mary-Ann and Lucas give each other smooch face. I tap Mariam on her shoulder and point to them. That's gross. In public too? I could never. I sign to her and she lets out a snort. They probably think that they're in bed together. I laugh a small laugh and we turn our attention back to Mario and Zach. "So lorianne, when you're talking behind someone's back.. they won't even know it?" I shake my head. "That's so lucky!" I shrug my shoulders. "Lucas and Mary-Ann are so gross. They're about to rip each other's clothes off." Says Zach. I laugh. "Hey Mary-Ann, Lucas! People are recording you!" Zach yells to them and they immediately stop kissing each other, Mary-Ann's cheeks red.

"Anyways," Mariam starts. "We should go to Italy together." "Why?" Asks Mario. She leans into his ear and whispers something, she does the same to Zach. "Yeah we should totally go to Italy!" The hell? I look at Mariam confused. What's going on? "Nothing! I just think that we should go to Italy so we can hang out. As Friends!" I raise an eyebrow at her and shake my head, rolling my eyes. They're planning something, a surprise party. My birthday is the week after next so that's why she wants to go to Italy so she can pull off the surprise party there. My parents are probably in on it too but I'll just act surprised. We finally make it through the long ass line and we get on the roller coaster. This one wasn't as bad as the last one but it went really fast though.

After the roller coaster we rode many different rides, made tiktoks, took photos and had an awesome time together. By the time we were done it was dark out and we were all extremely exhausted. Before we left we all said our goodbyes and hugged each other. When I hug Mario he whispers in my ear. "See you soon Lori." I smile and nod. I rest my head on his shoulder and rubs my back. "Okay let's go! I'm tired and want to be in my bed!" I hear Mariam say and I laugh. I pull away from him and he smiles at me. I smile back and walk towards my car.

"Bye you guys!" Mary-Ann says and she gets in the back seat. I get in the drivers seat and Mariam in the passengers seat. I plug the keys in and start to drive off to both of there houses to drop them off. When I finish I drive to my house and park the car, getting out and walking inside. All the lights were off but I thought nothing of it and went upstairs to my room, changing and laying down in my bed. "He's so hot." I say and smile, closing my eyes.
