RYUJIN'S POV

"Ryu!!" I smiled back at Chaeryeong who called me from afar. She was holding a few boxes so I approached her and carried a few. "Where are you off to?"

"I'm delivering this materials to the council, I just finished buying the designs...they're paying me for this" she whispered the last sentence making me giggle. "Oh right! I already signed up for us to perform on the upcoming Acquaintance Party! Let's start practicing this weekend yeah?"

Chaeryoung is literally so optimistic about everything that you'll find it hard to believe just how much responsibilities she currently holds. I'm still lucky at some point...

I'm rich.

I get to do what I want.

I won't have to worry much about my future.

Well except for that crappy Father I have.

And my mom...

My eyes grew wide when I caught a glimpse of the guy who was walking peacefully not to far away from my spot.

Beomgyu.

That jerk has been avoiding for a whole goddamn week already!

"Hey You! Carry this for Chaeryoung until she reaches her destination" I commanded, pulling a boy who just passed by us.

I don't know who this motherfucker is but I'll seriously teach him a lesson if he doesn't do it.

I started sprinting away when the boy already carried everything. "YAH CHOI BEOMGYU!" I screamed, not minding the students whom I just pushed aside. Our eyes met and then soon after, he ran away too.

He wants to play tag with me?

I'M SO UP FOR IT!

Gathering all my remaining strength, I managed to tail him in just a few minutes. He still remained fast, thanks to his long legs that's almost 3 steps ahead compared to mine.

"Ah!" I grunted in pain when I fell on the ground. I was about to get up when the unbearable pain sipped through my feet.

DID I JUST SPRAINED MY FUCKING ANKLE?!

I looked up, searching for Beomgyu who's currently not on my sight anymore.

And he just run away...

"OMO! MY DEAR RYUJIN! ARE YOU OKAY? WHAT HAPPENED?!" I managed to squint my eyes close when I heard Lia unnie's high pitched scream from afar.

Here goes the nagging—

"Did you hurt yourself again? Does it hurt? I told you to always watch yourself! Don't get in trouble all the time! You're making me worry! Here, let me help you up" I smiled when she looked like she's about to burst into tears.

"You really need to chill out...mom" I teased but she just glared at me and guided me to the clinic. My brows furrowed when I noticed something on her uniform.

"Why is your uniform so dirty unnie? Something happened?" Her eyes grew wide, suddenly freezing on her spot.

"Something wrong?"

"U-Uh—no! I just tripped earlier...you know me! I'm always this clumsy" she smiled widely so I had no choice but to nod my head.

Dismissal came and I couldn't help but to roll my eyes when I realized that I can't walk just fine. "Ryu! Should we escort you to the gate?" I gve them a big smile as I did a fist bump with one of my guy friends.
