Alphas and omegas are complete opposites. One's strong and born with the leadership skills they need in order to uphold a pack. and the other is there just to sit pretty and please others. to bear children, to belong to an alpha, or a beta.
betas are neutral. not enough strength to carry a pack and not enough pretty to be an omega, so they're just there, they can be excellent problem solvers time to time.
There are rogues, the outcasts, born without or ran away from their pack, or they might've been expelled.
you can never join another pack if you've ever been expelled from one, that's just how that works within the packs.
there are countless packs, the most powerful one being the Jeon pack. which has been around for centuries, every family bearing a male alpha to be its next leader.
and next to the leader was always an omega.

Taehyung ran through the woods, further and further away from the random packs guards.
he'd tried to sneak in to get some food, but he was caught and all he could do was run away.
being a rogue wasn't easy, of course. Taehyung dreamed of being apart of a pack. but, if they keep chasing him away, he knew he'd never have that luck.
He made it to a cliff where he sighed and laid down, he was in his wolf form, in order to run faster. but wolfs had the ability to go between their wolf form or just a human.
and not only was he a rogue, but he was also an omega. and for omegas to be all alone ANYWHERE, it was really dangerous.
but Taehyung was a fighter, and very stubborn. he'd always stand up for himself and others when he was a kid. and he's grateful he's always had those qualities, because now, as he's all alone, he can put them to good use.

"sir, the intruder got away."
"Why? how did you let an intruder get away?! who knows who's going to try to break in now!"
Jeon Jungkook, newly made the leader of the Jeon pack. he was 21 years old, but he had great problem solving skills. but he wasn't a beta, of course. he was an alpha. a pure breed.
pure bread alphas are the strongest out there, not so common though. they usually are born with some sort of deficiency, like grown limbs or something wrong with their brain.
but not Jungkook, he was a perfect, healthy baby. and by hearing this, his parents were relieved because they were scared they would birth a 'monstrosity' , in their words.
the guard gulped,
"there's something else..." he muttered, looking around the office, anywhere but the alphas red eyes,
"What is it?!"
"He's.. uh, he's an omega."
Jungkook pursed his lips as he stood up from his chair,
"find him. and bring him to me. you have 2 days."
the beta nodded as he scurried out of the office, running away to give orders immediately.
while at that, Jungkook sighed and rubbed his temples, hoping they'd do as asked-no, as ordered.
the next 2 days Jungkook was surprised that his guards had listened and brought him the omega.
he was in his office when he heard a knock.
"come in." he said, not looking up when the door opened.
"sir, the omega."
