Zoe POV:

After an hour or two, I was finally leaving Grey's house. I walked downstairs with my bag on my shoulder and waved bye to his parents. "Bye, Zoe! I hope you have a good night!! Tell your mother I said hello." Rose smiled at me. "I will!" I replied, walking outside then shutting the door.

Great.. I suppose I took too long executing that plan. Now it's getting dark.

I have to go to the school now. I need to calibrate a portal, then switch bodies with younger me. Once that happens, I can leave.

I can't believe it. After all this effort.. after all these days.. I'll be done. I would have saved this timeline.. I can go back to before the party in my timeline. Then, Grey won't wanna kill us. Abby won't try to murder me. And since it'll be back in time.. I'll no longer be a spirit inside a TV. I'll finally be back in my own timeline.. and I'll be alive again.

I felt my chest get all anxious as I thought about it. Sure, I'll have plenty of trauma and probably act strange. But I can sort that out when I get back. I'll finally be at home. I'll be happy again. Everyone will be alive again. Everyone will be.. happy again.

I can't help but remember everything. The bloody corpses of Ciera and Stratton infront of Abby and I's house. Sofia bleeding out on our carpet. Annabel and a stranger dead in an empty room. Samantha being framed for a crime she never committed. And.. me. Me being shot on my own front door. Of me and Abby's house. Being betrayed by the one I loved. At least, I thought I loved.

Whatever. I don't have time to dwell on that. I need to go back and somehow break into my school.

Narrator POV:

Zoe left to go to her old school, completely forgetting Grey's threat. She didn't know that Grey was already on his way to her.

Zoe was able to break into her school through breaking a window, and managed to sneak past the janitor's and staff that stayed late and grabbed the TV in the janitor's closet.

It took her some time, but she eventually made it to the very same room she killed Mattea in. She was overwhelmed with fear, but she had to ignore all those feelings. She couldn't give up now.

She hid Mattea inside a box in the basement, and turned on the TV. She explained to her younger self everything that was going on. While Highschool Zoe was extremely confused, she agreed to wait until the portal was formed before she would switch bodies.

Our timeline Zoe grabbed the remote Mattea had from her pocket, and pressed a button. She watched as the remote shook, before forming a small portal. It seemed to be weaker, since Mattea could use her powers to control how long the portal could stay.

Zoe POV:

I felt tears well up in my eyes as the portal was here. Finally. Finally I'd be free. Finally there'd be peace. Finally, I could go home.

I looked over to highschool me. Stuck in the TV. I'm sure she'll never forget this. I walked over to her and smiled. "I can't thank you enough for helping me out. You really did so much for me and I could never repay you. You saved me, truly." I wiped some of my tears as younger me smiled.

"Of course. I'd do anything to help someone out, even if that someone is an older version of me." She chuckled. I grabbed the tube from the TV. "Alright. I'm ready to switch."

Just as I was about to put the tube to my head, I heard noises coming from behind me. I turned around to see the portal emitting some bolts of.. something?

"That.. that isn't normal." I stood up and watched as two figures emerged from it. Two people I never thought I'd have to deal with again..

Grey and Fred.

Highschool Grey POV:

I looked out my window in thought. Zoe seemed.. off. I watched whenever she left as she mumbled to herself. All I could hear faintly was her saying she was going to "break into our school" and "set up a portal" and how "she could finally get back home"? What the hell does that all mean?

I can't just.. let her do whatever she was talking about. For all I know, she could end up missing like Lena did. I knew I had to do something!! Lena was last seen outside around this time anyway.. what if Zoe disappears like Lena too?

I put my ear to the floor and listened. I heard the TV on which meant my parents were still downstairs. I quietly tip-toed to my parents room and slowly opened the door. I crept in and went to my dad's dresser. I looked right under the bed. As per usual, her gun was there.

I grabbed it and quickly went back to my room, putting the gun in my bag. I may not know what is happening, but I can't take any chances. Who knows what possible danger is lurking wherever Zoe is going?

I knew my parents were making dinner so I quickly yelled. "MOM!!! DAD!!! IM GONNA GO TO BED EARLY!! ALL THAT TUTORING REALLY MADE ME TIRED.."

"WHAT? DONT YOU WANNA EAT FIRST??" My mom yelled back at me. "I HAD A SNACK BEFORE COMING HOME AND HAD A BIG LUNCH!! I'LL BE FINE. DON'T BOTHER ME, I NEED A LOT OF REST." I yelled back.

I heard them muttering to themselves. Great. Hopefully, that'll keep them from checking up on me or whatever. I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked over to the window and looked down. The fall would possibly injure me.. but its the best bet I have to getting down. My parent's don't let me go out past 5:30.

I slowly opened my window and climbed out to the roof, making sure I didn't fall. I kept the window cracked so I could get back inside, and looked down.

I noticed the bush below my house could possibly soften my fall slightly, as my house wasn't super tall. I slowly scooted down and fell into the bush. Let's just hope that doesn't make too much noise..

Staying still for a moment, I listened to make sure my parents weren't coming to investigate it. After listening for a minute, I assumed they just didn't hear or see it. I slowly climbed out and dashed to the sidewalk, sprinting down.

I knew it was a long walk to the school, but I couldn't risk more people disappearing. Zoe saved me, and I can't lose more people. I won't let anyone stop this shit, no matter what it takes.
