I asked as I reached the end of the stairs. Regina(my aunt) has not actually been nice to us, Eversince my parents died, she always treated me and my brother as a burden "How rude of you am just trying to wake you up, are you aware that it's 8 o'clock" she yelled. "Holy shit" I cursed as I raced upstairs to get ready before I get a detention. There wasn't actually enough time so I just styled my brown hair in a messy bun and put on my favorite sweater with some leggings , my black boots and light mascara.

I raced to Erik's room(my twin brother) to check maybe he is still in there, as I opened the door, I just saw a messy room and play station controllers on the Floor. "Dammit that idiot left me" I said as I looked outside the window and saw it was about to rain. " Shit" I mumbled. then raced outside to get into my car but unfortunately, today isn't my lucky day, before I got into the car, the rain started and I was soaked wet , I had spare clothes in the car for situ like this so I changed before I got into school.
As I got into the school ,i stumbled and collided with someone's chest. I looked up and saw the school's queen bee(Brittany Diaz) aka my ex best friend, she used to be very nice atimes but now she is much of an ass, not to forget a whore. She is kind of pretty with her honey blonde hair and green eyes and awesome figure. "Get out of my way bitch" Brittany said as she tried to shove me out of the way, unfortunately for her I am stronger than her, that's one of the advantages of learning karate at 13. "Why? Don't you love my company? " I said sacarstically as I tried to get ot out her way and to class "Ooh dear we both know that I don't" She said as she yanked my hair. "Ouch" I screeched as I yanked her hair too before I realized we were in a heated fight as always a crowd was nearby watching . She pinned me to the wall then I punched her guts. "Ouch "she said as she turned red from the pain, I tried to hide my laugh but I couldn't , annoyed she sent a punch straight at my nose. Quickly I tasted blood in my month and realized I was bleeding before thinking twice I sent her a straight punch at her nose then she started bleeding. "Oow "she screeched as she tried to stop her nose from bleeding as I smirked in amusement. You bitch! She said as she match forward and landed a slap on my face,wanting to fight back but heard a familiar voice. " Brittany what did you do ? " he said, I looked straight and saw a Parker Adams, the bad ass player of our school with dark brown hair and deep blue eyes and his tones muscles, he's pretty tall about 6'3 and he looks really hot though. "Parky this bitch hit me" Brittany said then Parker realized I was there and his eyes trailed down my body as he was checking me out I scowled in disgust wondering how I looked attractive at my state then before I realized ashley(my best friend) and Erik walked in, Erik expression changed to pure anger then he pinned Britanny "How dare you touch my sister" he said in angry as Parker tried to shove Brittany out of he's griip. "what is going on in here" principal Williams yelled as the crowd scram to their classes.
"Miss Morgan, Miss Diaz what do you have to say for this?" he said.
"She hit me first" Brittany said trying to fake a sob as she leaned to parker's chest. "No I did not" I said "Miss Diaz and Miss Morgan I will like to see in my office" he said
I scowled at the mear hearing of office knowing I will get a detention or even worse, suspension. As we got into his office, he sat down comfortably preparing to tell us our fate. "Brittany and Annika two of you will be having detention for a week, it will be a good opportunity to catch up on your homework." he said "Whaaat!" Brittany and I said simultaneously "Whatever, detention starts today after school" he said "I know how it works" I mutter . I was so angry now I could do anything to the bitch sitting beside me. Williams scrunched up his nose in annoyance as he said" you can get to class now". I simply packed my bags and tried as much as I can to avoid Brittany. I know your all wondering why I hate her, ooh I guess I should tell you. One year ago, I was dating this guy , Dylan. He was very nice and handsome but he only wanted to use me to get to Brittany , Brittany knew that cause her and Dylan were close she didn't even care to inform me then she just backstabbed me,it was like one of those stupid movies you watch, I was so hurt and couldn't put myself together then Brittany and him started dating which made it worse for me but I moved on with the help of Erik and Ashley. So that sums it up. I quickly stopped by the restroom to reapply my makeup. Then cleared all my thoughts and went to my next class, History. I hesitated at first but I opened the door, then everyone started whispering. Great. They heard about the fight
Brittany's minions gave me a cold glare. If looks could kill I would be 5 feet under. "Hii! "Ashley said, signaling for me to sit with her I went over to the sit next to her and sat. " so what's up? " she said with a flash of pity in her eyes. " he just told me I had detention for a week"I said as I scowled "Ooh am so sorry, I wasn't there on time" she said "smile kiddo, it's nothing I can't handle" I said with a hint of sacarsm Ashley scowled at me saying " am serious, you haven't had this many detentions before, I am worried about you" "Don't worry about me I will be fine" I said as Mrs Rebecca strolled into the class. "Good morning class, today we will be talking about the British empire, the empire started in the 17th century and lasted about 400 centuries..............." I was writing but I realized paker was staring at me , what the fuck, why in hell will Parker be starting at me when he has Brittany wrapped around him I thought. Lost on my thoughts I didn't realize Mrs Rebecca was calling until Ashley nudge my arm signaling for me to listen to Rebecca. " Annika it seems you are not paying attention to my class, so I would like to ask you, what do you think is the reason for the fall of the British empire?" I may not be the complete high school nerd but I am really smart, I am not trying to be cocky or anything but I have good grades which I am proud of.
I stopped myself from laughing and just answered the question" due to overexpansion " I said She was a little shocked but hid it with a bland expression. I guess she was impressed. I sat down and a few minutes the bell rang meaning it was time for lunch. Immediately I packed my bag . Ashley quickly grabbed my hand. " Ash can you pls pay for my lunch, I forgot my money at home " I said "No worries Anna am always here" she said I headed for our usual tables while Ashley went to buy our lunches.A few minutes later she came to our table with two plates of burgers and fries. "Thanks Ash" I moaned while eating my food "Your welcome" she said with a grin "So what was going on in history" she said "Hmmm Parker was staring at me and I kinda got lost in my thoughts" I said "Oh my gosh, Anna that's amazing you guys are going to be an an amazing couple!" she said exictedly "Not if you keep talking like that" I said annoyed by the fact that her outburst got people staring at us. "Ooh sorry" she said still grinning "uuh I gotta go to libary, would you mind ? I said " Nah, go read NERD! She exclaimed as I headed towards the door. "I went to my locker to get some books, I started searching for the books I needed, then someone leaned in the locker next to mine. I looked and saw Parker..... Of course. " Hey Anna "he said with his signature smirk on his face " Hi parky "I mocked Brittany " That sounds hilarious coming from you" he said "cut to the chase Parker, what do you-" He cut me off, smashing his lips to mine, our lips moved in sync like they were meant to be, I snake my arm around his neck as he bit my lips asking for entrance but I refused then he bit my lip again making me gasp then he slid his tongue in, our tongue were dancing and butterflies were forming in my stomach, tired of our position he pinned me to one of the lockers . I quickly realised what we were doing and pulled away then ran outside as far away from him as possible and ignored him calling my name. This isn't the first time him and I are kissing but this one was so filled with passion , real emotion. We were just accquitances but I had feelings for him and knew if I continued like this I will end up hurt. He is a bad ass player, he can't stay in a relationship, I should have never kissed him. I went to the back of the school and cried my heart out, I think am just being paranoid but I remembered when my parents died three years ago, I loved them so much but when they died, I was so hurt then Dylan cheated on me with my best friend , when I was deeply in love with him and it hurt even more, love hurts . I cried and cried then someone picked me up and I realized I was having a panic attack, I cried into his shirt and he took me home......
