Chapter 2 Bonding

Shinobu's POV

I was walking with mitsuri when all of a sudden my stomach growled loudly. A bright red blush went across my face and I covered my face in embarrassment. She giggled "would you like me to treat you to dinner m'lady?" She said in a seductive tone. I blushed more and then I nodded while placing my hands on my thighs. "Alright let's go!" She picked me up and she walked me to the restaurant.

When we got there it was empty, of course it was it's night time. She sat me at a table and sat across from me. "What would you like to order?" She said sweetly. "I'll like ginger boiled down in soy sauce, please and thank you" I crossed my hands and placed my chin on them while using my elbows as support on the table. "Is that all? No drink or side dish? No dessert?" She said in a concerned tone, of course, she's the queen of food. I shook my head and said "no that'll be all" "alright then, I just don't want you to starve yourself" she responded with a tone of worry in her voice so I place my hand over hers. "Don't worry, I would never treat myself like that" I said in a light tone making sure not to worry her. She smiled at me and nodded. I ate my food then we went to sit next to the river before the sun has risen.

3rd person POV

Mitsuri rested her head on shinobus chest while Shinobu slowly stroked her head. "Hey Shinobu? The moon is lovely tonight don't you think so?" Shinobu blushed and looked down at her but mitsuri was just staring at the moon. Shinobu nodded her head in response and continued to stroke her head.

Setting is day time

Giyuu's POV

I had just came back from the mission I was assigned to and I've been glancing at kocho a lot, she seemed different. Ever since mitsuri was announced as a demon she was really sad and a lot of people stopped seeing her smile. Yesterday I was talking with Tanjiro when I looked up and saw kocho smiling. "What are you looking at tomioka-san?" "Nothing Tanjiro, it's just that, kocho is smiling again" "really!?" The red hair in front of me quickly turned his head to reveal a smiling kocho, he seemed to be really happy that she was smiling again. "Her sent smells positive so she really is happy!" Tanjiro said. 'Hm, I wonder why?' I thought to myself, we then approached her and Tanjiro started the conversation as always. "Shinobu-san! Hello there!" "Why hello there Tanjiro dear and.." she paused and looked at me. "Tomioka-san.." her smile had evil written all over it when she said my name and seconds later there was a powerful envy aura around us. The silence was broken by Tanjiro. "U-uh how about we go hang out somewhere?" He stuttered so I could see he was trying, so I agreed. "Sure" is all I said and kocho.. "if tomioka-san is going count me out, I have things to attend to" I didn't show any emotion on my face but Tanjiro could tell I was a bit hurt by that. "That's alright Shinobu-san me and tomioka will continue our day together" Shinobu nodded and she walked away. "Let's go tomioka-san." Tanjiro took my hand and we started walking away." (No this is not a Giyuutan ship ples don't attack me 💀)

Shinobu's POV

The audacity or Tanjiro to ask if I wanted to hang out with tomioka-san. Ugh this day was going well til I saw him. 'I wish it was night, I already miss her.' I thought to myself while walking in the forest. I was walking in the shade when all of a sudden something dropped from the tree startling me. "Hi nobi!" (Nick name for Shinobu) When I saw who it was it was mitsuri hanging upside down on a branch, I glanced down a bit and noticed her boobs were out of her shirt. I turned bright red and panicked while covering my eyes. She tilted her head to the side. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Y-y-your boobs are out!" Mitsuri looked down and saw. "Whoops sorry" she chuckled nervously and sat up on the branch "Anywayssssss, how are you?" "I-I'm fine" I said straightening myself up and fixing my face. "Hey nobi?" "Yea?" "I was wonderingggggg." "Spit it out" "who's your crush?"

"You." She looked stunned for a second then her face went red. "M-Me!?" "Yea it's you I'm not like one of those girls who will deny they don't have a crush or say they do have one in front of their crush but won't say who." When I looked at mitsuri she was hyperventilating? She was breathing hard and scratching her skin on her chest, I asked her "what's wrong!?" In a concerned voice. "S-Shinobu san I-I" she was struggling to speak so I hugged her in hopes of her to calm down.

Mitsuri's POV

I was getting memories and flash backs to the time when my ex rejected me because of how I was. I was scared, what if this relationship ends like my last relationship? She suddenly hugged me and I started crying, I could tell she was panicking. I so busy crying that I didn't notice that she kissed me. I slowly melted into the kiss and kissed back. She broke the kiss and looked at me with a gentle face. "Calm down honey, let's take deep breaths baby." I nod and start breathing with her. After about 4 minutes I was alright. "What was all that about?" She asked me. "I was just scared." "Of what?" "M-my last relationship didn't end so well" "how come?" I hesitated for a second then spoke. "My boyfriend and I were going to get married but he turned me down because of my irregular hair color my and my scary strength, he was scared that our kids would have my hair color" Shinobu was angered by this I could tell. "Don't be angry it's in the past and he's gone" "I'm sorry that happened to you sweetheart but I'll never treat you like that" she cupped my cheek and smiled. Tears formed in my eyes, happy tears and I started wiping my face she then pulled me in and hugged me.
