Bad News

*Ava POV*
I walk inside expecting to see my Dad,but Sargent Mcniles confronts me.

"Hey Sargent,where's my father?" I ask giving him a hug.Him and my father are really great friends.

"Ava that's what I'm here to t-tell you." He stutters as I see tears in his eyes,as mine start to tear up.

"W-Whats wrong.....what happened to him?" I ask,backing away."A-Ava," he sighs "your father,he was shot in the field."

I turn around and start to walk.I start to run without a thought and start crying.I run out of the building and start screaming and fall to my knees.

I run to a corner near the building and just curl up into a ball and cry....

*Mark POV*
I can't believe that Sarah has been cheating on me all along. I kick the nearest garbage can and scream.

As I pass a building I hear someone crying and turn to my right to see a girl balling her eyes out.

I walk over to her and kneel down to her side."A-are you okay?" I ask and she lifts her head.Her face is stained with tears.

"Yeah....," she puts her head back in her lap but quickly lifts it back up "are are you Markiplier?" She asks.

I nod laughing in the process."Yes indeedy I am." I smile and her cheeks turn pink.

She pulls out her hand."I'm I'm Ava." I shake her hand."You can call me Mark." I giddily reply.Wow,she's gorgeous."Thanks." She says."Did I say that out loud?" I feel my cheeks heat up.

After about 10 minutes of talking I ask her if she would like to go out to dinner.

"I would love to." I stand up and grab her my hand and pull her up.

As we are walking I can't help but notice the stars reflecting in her blue eyes that hold a hint of gray in them.But not a normal gray,its just a smooth kind of gray.

"Is something wrong?" Damnit Mark! Real smooth." Uh no I was just admiring your eyes." I look away in embarrassment.But Ava grabs my face and pulls it to hers.Our noses touch.

This is taking too long I think,but without thinking I pull Ava's lips to mine.She doesn't back away but we continue,but when she pulls away we start walking again with an awkward tension over our heads.

When we get to Olive Garden we walk inside and the waiter sees me."Oh Markiplier! I'm your biggest fan!" She squeals.But when she sees Ava her attitude changes.

She takes us to our table and asks what we want for drinks."uh can I have a diet Pepsi please?" Ava asks polielty.The waiter doesn't answer to her instead she leans in front of me,"And what would you like big boy?" She asks batting her eyelashes at me.

"I'll have a diet cola." I say and she goes to get the drinks.

When the waiter gets back I notice she unbottoned two buttons,but I like Ava.wait what? I do?

When we get done with eating, Ava writes something on the tip.

I look at the tip without Ava's knowing.

It says: Buttons are there for a reason.

And I literally almost die laughing.

I take Ava to my place,because when we were talking she couldn't bare to go home, so I invited her to stay.
