It had probably been a couple hours when Shank began to stir, it took him a sec to realize exactly what ended up happening earlier and where he was now. At least he was back in the base. But then he noticed.. Where. He was.

Laying on Kleide's lap.

Kleide was actually asleep, who knows how long he was out. He was resting his head on his fist, his elbow on the arm of the couch. He kind of just dozed off while waiting for Shank to wake up.

Shank sorta just panicked, sitting up and scooching away. His side hurt badly, when he went to feel the wound, it was bandaged up already. He wondered who did that. But he looked around a bit.

"Oh.. You're awake. Good morning."

Kleide just smiled slightly at Shank, relieved he was awake and alright. Shank was just...flustered. That's all he felt right now.

"Hi...Uh..." Shank cleared his throat. "Sorry, kinda blacked out back there."

"It's no worries, you lost quite a bit of blood, so there wasn't a way to stop yourself from blacking out. Are you feeling alright? Do you need anything else?"

It was usually Kleide taking care of the two, even when he was the one injured. More of because he tells Shank he's fine. (He's never fine)

"Yeah, I'm fine right now." Shank looked around. "Where'd the creep go?" Referring to Valentino.

"Who? Oh, Valentino? I told him to go try target practice outside."

"Oh, okay. Good. He'd probably burst a fucking blood vessel if he was in here." Shank rolled his eyes.

"Why is that?" Kleide seemed to genuinely not notice.. He's a bit dumb. That's okay all 5 of us here love you Kleide <33

"He seems really obsessed with you, seeing me resting in your lap would've made him lose his mind." Shank was used to explaining lots of things to Kleide. Kleide just shrugged.

"I was originally going to hang from the ceiling to wait, but you're the one who laid on me while you were laying down. So I stayed and apparently dozed off."

Shank's eyes widened a little.

"...I-I was?" Oh boy. Things were probably gonna get awkward now. Maybe the boss was right...At least Kleide's too oblivious to notice!

"Yes, but I did not mind. It wasn't a problem to me." Kleide just gave a smile, trying to reassure Shank.. But he knew (or thought) that Shank felt nothing of it.
