The whole way to the doctor she was chirping like a little bird about different things, mostly about how her designs are somewhat done but sh his struggling with colours

"Lets just go home na, im kay" she said seeing me park at the doctors

"Don't be scared he will not bite you" I said carrying her inside

"Hi do you have an appointment" the receptionist said

"Yes, with mr meheta just tell him Manik is here" I said and she nodded

"Okay right this way" she guided us to the room

"He will be there shortly" the receptionist said and I nodded

"Manik put me down" she wiggled in my arms

"Shhh" I sat her down on the little bed and her eyes widened

"Language kitten"

"Manik im wearing shorts, fucking Pajama shorts, why didn't you remind me shit shit shit"

"And what's wrong with that, im wearing sweats too" I said sitting down on the chair infant of her

"Shh you look pretty like a little girl who is ready for a pajama party" I chuckled saying it and Nandini pouted looking away

"Hi Manik" the doctor came in

"Hi uncle, this is Nandini my wife"

"You hit the jackpot with such a pretty lady" he teased making me chuckle while Nandini blushed

"That's for sure uncle"

"So what can I do for you beta" he asked looking at nadnini 

"My ankle, I was playing in the water and I think its a normal sprain" she said

"Okay let me see" he said and I could the discomfort and pain on her face

"You are right just a minor sprain, the swelling should go down by tom, grab this cream from the reception okay and you should be good" he said

"I can walk around by tom right" Nandini asked

"Of course" he said

"Thanks uncle"

"Take care guys" he said and left

I picked up Nandini carrying her to the car and she had this smirk on her face, I knew exactly why which is why I didnt say anything.

"Stop it"

"I didnt do anything mani, but you cannot stop me from coming to the office tom and ill be okay, even he said its fine"

"I know but"

"Ill make you a deal just because you look so handsome" she said putting her hand on my thigh

"What deal" I asked

"Ill be careful and not run around the office until my ankle is fine"

"You'll work in my cabin" I sad and she nodded

"I can live with that" she chirped

We drove home, I put Nandini on the bed and she laid down with a new ice pack on her ankle, I could tell she was tired.

"Baby dont move okay, im just going to quickly shower"

"Okay" she mumbled closing her eyes

Nandini's pov

He went to shower and I just laid there thinking about the pain, I was just trying to not freak him out but it did hurt a lot, I know its minor but every time I move my leg it hurts.
