The next morning I woke but I didnt feel manik around me so I moved my hand but he wasn't there, sighing I opened my eyes and sat up on the bed, I saw a hand towel on my foot so I knew he was up. I touched my ankle and it didnt hurt it was good now.
I heard the bathroom door open making me look up to see manik shirtless with a towel around his waist, his hair was dripping, a sight for sour eyes, I know I was staring at him becasue he caught me as a smirk formed on his lips
"Good morning baby"
"Morning manik, why did you get up" I asked as he pecked my lips leaning down
"I have meetings darling" he replied walking into the closet
"I know but why didnt you wake me up, I have to perfect my designs" I spoke getting out of bed
"Mrs malhotra dont you dare put your foot down, I just put the cream on your ankle" he yelled from the closet
"Manik im good, it doesn't hurt anymore" I said walking towards the closet
"Stop being so stubborn when it comes to your health" he said in a firm tone walking towards me in a shirt and trousers
"You look really good" I said smiling but his face hardened
"Nandini this isnt a joke" he said walking past me
"Okay I surrender im sorry" I said sitting down on the bed
He was setting his hair standing in front of the dresser, I knew my designs could be done in a few hours so I have decided to wait until he gets there then I can go finish my designs give my presentation and come back
"Gussa ho" I asked
"Nahi bohot khush hu" he said sarcastically
"Acha baba im sorry, my foot is fine, thank you for putting cream on it" I said giving him a cheeky smile as he turned around
"Why do you do this? Just stay home today please" he said sitting on the table in front of me
"I promise if it hurt I will come back home okay and I won't even be stubborn but sachii bilkul dard ni hai"
"As you wish" he said kissing my forehead
"Dont be upset subha subha pura din bura jayega" I said and he took a deep breath
"Ill have max drive you, you are going to text me as soon as you get to the office becasue I will be in a meeting, you will not run around instead you will sit in my cabin to do your work. Is that clear" he asked and I nodded
"Good, now go shower, have your breakfast and I will see you in the office sweetheart" he said kissing my lips
"Drive safe, all the best and I love you"
"I love you more bacha" he kissed my forehead and left
He is so cute, I grabbed clothes and showered. Like manik said I had my breakfast, kaki told me that everyone had left.
"Kaki manik kai breakfast kia na"
"Ni beta, woh late rahai Thai" she said and I nodded
"Bye kaki"
"Bye beta"
I walked outside and saw max standing beside the car on his phone
"Hi Maxie"
"Hi nandu, how are you"
"Good, you"
"Great" he chirped with a blush
