It was a nice morning the next day. The young girl was asleep in the guest room of Kristi's house. She was tucked well under the bed sheets as it was a bit cold that night.
"Celestia! Celestia!" The girl heard those words in her sleep repeatedly before waking up and calling out "Mamma!!!"
Kristi heard the girl and ran up to the room. "Everything ok?" He asked her. She looked around, feeling a bit scared, and then at Kristi, recognizing him and calming down. "I heard mamma's voice calling me out..." she teared up. Kristi sat on the bed and patted her head. "She must be worried and searching for you" he said trying to cheer her up, but she just shook her head and said "Mamma has passed away long ago."
Kristi froze in place for a moment. "I-I'm so sorry to hear that. Must have been hard for you..." he said.
Celestia just looked down, unable to even cry. "S-she died because of me..."
"What do you mean?" Kristi now looked a bit confused, yet worried about her.
She reached in her pocket and took out a card. The image of the card looked a lot like her, but with more Winter colors. Kristi looked at it and at her. "So that is your Destiny?" He asked.
"My... Destiny?" She had no idea what that meant.
Kristi pulled out a card. "Dark Cursed Knight, Kristi. This is my Destiny." He said.
"I-I see... s-so... Everyone has their own D-Destiny?"
"Well- not everyone really. But it's said that those who possess their Destiny, are bound to have great powers."
Celestia clenched her fists. "I wish I never had such powers." She now knew. She remembered it ice clear how it had happened. How the normal day, turned into a living nightmare. How everything suddenly got cold. Her mother tried warming her up and then... she was it. Celestia was where the cold was coming from. Her mother turned into ice in front of her. Then the freezing continued and was spreading until someone stopped it. A man posture, with 2 flaming beasts on his shoulders stood in front of her. He picked her up and got her warm. Then she passed out.
Celestia shook her head. She just had the flashback of all that happened till that moment when that man showed up. Questions filled her head up.
Kristi, now even more confused from her behavior, shook her lightly. "Are you ok..?"
Celestia nodded. "Sir, would yo-" she got interrupted by her stomach growling.
Kristi laughed a bit. "Guess you were just hungry. Cmon, I made breakfast. Hope you like Ice Cream Waffles." He got up.
"That's not what I-" she shook her head. "I love Ice Cream Waffles." She said and got up as well.
Kristi took her to the kitchen and sat 2 plates of Ice Cream Waffles on the table. Celestia sat down and started eating. "S-So amazing!!" She smiled.
"So- if you wouldn't mind me asking, what was a little girl like you doing out that late at night?" He asked.
"I'm not a little girl. I'm 16!" She said mumbling.
"You really look younger" Kristi chuckled.
"Still... thanks a lot. I don't even want to imagine what they would do to me if it weren't for you."
"Looking at your Destiny, why didn't you face them yourself? Your card is pretty good."
"I- I don't have a deck... that's also reason why they were being like that to me- they wanted my card... and I couldn't face them in a game as I don't have a deck."
"I see. Well then. After breakfast, we will make you a deck for your Destiny."
"Y-you don't have to..."
"I insist. There is no guarantee I or anyone like me will be there anytime that gang tries to attack you. So you have to have the means to deal with them."
She looked down. "Yeah- guess you are right."
Kristi smiled. "You do know the rules and gameplay tho, correct?"
She nodded.
"Alright. I will make you a deck that will help you through your battles."

After a few hours of deck building.
"There it is Celestia. Your deck is complete." Kristi said as he handed the deck to her.
Celestia took it. "Shall I have a test game to see how it works?"
"Of course. Let's go out." He says.
"Where?"
"To the gang."
"W-what? W-why?!"
"Because it will be better that way. Their 'leader' wasn't really strong. So you will win easily."
Celestia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Ok. Let's do it"

The two go out and head to where the gang's hideout was. Kristi had done some research and found their 'secret' place. After a while of walking, they arrived. Kristi knocked on the door. One of the gang members opened it and looked at Kristi. "Wrong door fuckass."
"No no. I'm pretty sure this is the right place." Kristi replied calmly.
"Are you looking for trouble hot shit? Because I wouldn't mind that?" He laughed and pulled his deck out... It was a super quick match. The gang man looked terrified. "H-How?!"
"This is what happens when you dont accept your Destiny." Kristi said.
"That was amazing Kristi-san"
"You will be even more amazing Lestie-chan."
She shook her head.
"Come on. You have the next game." He said.
"B-But I dont have a deck-.." she said.
"I pulled something together for you" he gave her a deck.
Lestie took a deep breath and nodded. "Ok. I won't let you down." She then turned to one if the men. "One of you. Battle me!"
One of the men walked up. "L-let's battle!"
