Chapter 3- Eat It Up

Brianna's POV

We pull up to this bomb ass restaurant called "Big Poppa's BBQ". Shit really be hitting not even gon lie to you, honestly everything been hitting to me. I swear being pregnant fucks with yo whole appetite and food palette, like I'm out here craving shit I don't like and throwing up the shit I do like.

We walk in and we're welcomed by the great smell of BBQ. We all order what we want, grab our food and go sit on the patio to eat.

" So Bri, how does it feel to know you finna shoot a kid outta coochie soon?"

"Kayla why you gotta word it like that lol... well for starters I'm not SHOOTING a baby outta my coochie, honestly I don't even think It's gon come out of my coochie at all, cause tiktok got me scared with them videos of people giving birth and they stories and shit. Yea nah I think imma pass on letting a big headed baby come outta my cooch"

"Prolly a good choice, cause no shade but they baby finna have a big head.... I mean look at Ant" Kayla said laughing

Antonio just looked at her and stole some fries off her plate

"OK ok, but time to get serious. What's everyone's plans for college and life after high school? Any scholarships or anything?" Ash asked looking around the table

" Well I had big plans but that was before I knew I was gonna have a child. So now I'm staying local and going to the community College to get my cosmology license"

"OK purrr, we love that for you. You better be giving me deals on hair and nails for real"

"Omg lol yea I gotchu"

"Next."

" Well I got a couple scholarships lined up but I still don't know where I wanna go but I only have 2 weeks then everybody's enrollment opens up"

"What about you Toni and Trey".

" Well I gotta couple sports scholarships, I've been accepted to a few colleges. I mean I wanted to play ball but one of the schools is like 6hrs away and that's far from my new family. I really just have to sit down and see what I want to saying imma have a newborn child in my life by then."

"Oh that's cool. Yea I would say do what's best for you, bri, and tha baby. Don't wanna be too far to the point you can't help with the baby at all"

Trey sat in silence then looked at us and told us how he felt like school wasn't for him and he just wanted to keep doing his clothing line that he started. Honestly he's clothes aren't bad he has Hoodies, jackets. Shorts, shirts, and socks. Ofc we all support him and wear his stuff, he even said he's gonna make me an exclusive baby collection for my son when he get here lol. I'm so happy to be a mom but I'm also nervous as hell cause like to a kid they momma is fucking wonder woman and I don't want anything to make my kid feel like I don't want them or I regret having em.

We sat around eating and talking for about another hour then we all went our separate ways.

Aaron POV

I'm on tha phone with Essence fine ass. When I tell yall this girl kinda got me hooked, like imma pimp ion trust no hoes but she be making me second guess that shit. She mad cool, she got her own money and job. She don't be expecting me to pay for her everything I mean I still do but not cause she need me to. She graduated college last year like you can't get no better than a strong, independent, well educated, fine shawty.

"Shouldn't you be doing something? Like working?"

" Boy I am working, a lot of my work is on the computer which is why you keep hearing me type. Shouldn't you be working or are you a bum lowkey? Cause you keep saying you make money but ion ever see you work"
