Jasmine Green turned the page of her self care book, and as she did, she suddenly felt a cold dread touch her spine. She felt her body hitch itself. She whipped her eyes around, even though it would do no good as it was pitch black in the school greenhouse.

"Who's there?" She whisper-shouted, she hoped a teacher hadn't accidentally left their house keys, or dropped their phone on the ground or something stupid overall.

The point is, she had been sneaking into her school, or has been for the past 2 weeks ever since Middleton Technology School's gorgeous gardens haven't been at their best recently. She wanted to get to the bottom of whatever was happening to all the plants since the school board, aka Sophia being the leader, said they'd get to the bottom of it and didn't do jackshit because they were 'too busy' and had 'better things to focus on than silly weeds in a random garden', and so far she hadn't exactly made the most progressive of progression's there is.

"Jesus it's only me." Jasmine's best friend, Nikisha comes out from the dark.

"Well then next time give me an actual sign instead of creeping up on me like Mrs Kellett does in her free time." Jasmine rolls her green eyes.

"Gee sorry. But how far are you with supplies and stuff? I've brought fertilizer from my dad's garage."

"That's perfect. I also managed to find where the school store all their water and managed to give the plants some water. At this rate, our mother nature will be back in prime condition, no thanks to stuck up snob Sophia and her selfish son of a bitch team!"

"Anything else? Maybe some better soil?"

"Better soil? Where would we get 'better soil' from?"

"I dunno? That's why I'm asking you. You're the expert. Don't you have your own weed stash at ho-"

"Don't talk about my we- uh I mean smelly plants!"

"Bro, no ones even here to jugde but me. It's not like your gonna get in trouble."

"Sorry. Just a bit self conscious alright. But anyways, I think most of the plants look...um...better than dead lets say."

"So...we call it off for the night?"

"Yeah. How does a stop to maccies on the way sound?"

"Yeah sounds good because I skipped my tea for this shit and now I think I'm gonna pass out."

The pair laughed as they snuck out of the open ceiling window and headed out. But as they did, Jasmine felt a strange vibe, like there was something special she could see in the distance.

And it was calling out for her.
