____________________"Y/N wake up." Robin whined, attempting to get me out of bed. I groaned and shoved her away. I didn't get much sleep last night, I was too busy over thinking. "Come on." Robin whinged, pushing me off the bed. I quickly saved myself with my hands and stood up, hitting her in the face with a pillow. "Not cool." I yawned, rubbing my eyes. "Steve wants us down at Family Video within the next thirty minutes, says it's important." Nancy said, coming out of the bathroom with her hair in a towel. I sat on the bed, staring into space. It was way to early for this.
I chucked on my clothes from yesterday and pulled my shoes on. I didn't have to worry about forgetting anything because I left my stuff in the car. Robin and I quickly said goodbye to Mrs Wheeler and followed Nancy out the door and into her car.
Within no time, we were standing outside of Family Video. I held the door open for them and closed it behind me. I saw Dustin and a red head girl I haven't met talking to Steve. As soon as he saw us, his face changed from stressed to releived. "What's so important you dragged us out of bed for?" Robin impatiently asked as she hopped over the counter. I leant on the counter with my arms crossed. "It better be a good reason." I mumbled, still half asleep. Nancy stood behind me, waiting quietly for an explanation. The girl with red hair spoke up first. "Last night, I saw Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham go into his trailer..." I immediately looked at her, my interest grabbed by just Eddie's name. "...and I don't know, maybe ten minutes later he ran out screaming and drove off." She explained, looking at both Steve and Dustin for some help, obviously not wanting to do all the taking. "And this is important why?" Robin sighed, sorting through a pile of movies out of bordem. "Because Max saw Chrissy dead inside of Eddie's trailer." Dustin said. My eyes widened and I stood up straight, glancing over at Nancy and Robin to see their reactions. I decided to break the silence. "Is Eddie okay? Where is he?" I asked, almost demanding an answer. Steve scratched the back of his neck obviously trying to avoid my question. "He's missing." Steve mumbled. My heart dropped to my stomach. The thought of anything bad happening to him scared the shit out of me.
"Well then find him?" Robin stupidly suggested. I placed my head in my hands, trying to think. I could easily find him, but I didn't want to raise any suspicions about me. If they found out, I'd surely be labelled a freak. "Oh as if we haven't tried that already." Steve said, flicking Robin in the head. Everyone began arguing about what to do next, constantly disagreeing with each other.
"This would be so much easier if Eleven was here and could help."
My head shot up, causing everyone to go silent. I stared at Max, processing what she had just said. She stood there, awkwardly looking around the room as she waited for me to stop staring at her. "Uh Y/N? You're kinda freaking us out..." Nancy said, waving a hand infront of my face. Everyone just stood there, waiting for me to say something. I have to find Eddie.
"Fuck it. Dustin do you have a blind fold?" I asked, jumping over the counter. He searched through his bag and pulled out a camouflage printed bandanna. Good enough. "I need you all to be silent." I said, tying the bandanna around my head and pulling it over my eyes. I slid down the wall until I took a seat on the ground. Nancy rushed over to the door, flipping the sign to closed and shutting the blinds. Luckily, none of them questioned what I was doing. If they knew about Eleven, then maybe they won't be bothered by me. I took a deep breath, and cleared my mind.
Soon enough, I was in the void. Nothing but darkness surrounded me. In the distance, I could make out what looked to be a metal shed. Just past the shed, there was a huge lake that stretched for what seemed like miles. I slowly looked around, trying to find a street sign of some sort, finally spotting one.
"Lovers Lake." I said, ripping off the blindfold and handing it back to Dustin. Steve started typing something into the computer, pulling up an address. "Got it. Dustin, Max, you ride with me. Y/N, Robin, go with Nancy." Steve said, shutting down the computer and grabbing his car keys. We all followed him out of the door, splitting up into our groups. Nancy was going to follow Steve to this address and hopefully Eddie was there. We pulled out of the drive way, following closely behind Steve's car. "That was pretty cool what you did back there." Robin randomly blurted out. I was glad that no one reacted badly, maybe they will accept me still. "Yeah it was..." Nancy began. "...are you like Eleven or something?" I looked at Nancy in the mirror, not knowing how to explain it. "I'm not like Eleven. Eleven is like me." Was all I said.
The rest of the drive was silent. It was beginning to get dark outside which made me worry for Eddie. The cars came to a stop and we all stepped out. Everyone looked at me as if they were waiting for confirmation that this was the place I saw. I searched around the house, not remembering it from the void. "It's not here." My voice broke. Once again I'd failed at such a simple task. "Uh guys..." Max caught our attention and pointed her flashlight down the side of the house. We all piled up behind her to see a large metal shed with the front light on. "This is it, this is what I saw."
