The night walked down the sky with the moon in her hand.
There they stand, the innumerable stars, shining in order like a living hymn, written in light.
Like a trillion asterisks and no explanations.
It's darkness splodged its ink across the blue sky only to be washed away by the sun every morning.
the stars being so bright that they become holes in
the floor of heaven where the angels can't hide.
So can you step out into the night?
where the darkness deceives your eyes.
Red becomes grey and yellow becomes white, you'll have to
decide which is correct and which is right.
when the creatures close their minds, and dream of the
endless wild.
The city screams itself awake,
The screaming never stops.....and there he will be waiting.
