Yuto's POV

... My back's leaned against a wall, one leg stretched out on the ground the other pulled to my chest. My head was facing down, 'Was my past self resting?'. I opened my eyes, moving my head up shortly after.

My face fell at what I saw, "I'm a bit disappointed..." I whispered. Before me, Heartland was already a destroyed city. It must've been more than three months after their invasion, I can't see one standing car on the street, or hear any whispers from the walls.

'If the attack hadn't happened yet, I would've been prepared to save more people from Academia... Is Ruri save?' I got up. Turning left and right, I also didn't see Shun yet. Maybe I had been patrolling and he was at the camp? Let's hope he was with his sister.

I went the rest of my patrol route back just to make it not look weird for me or the others, they needed their nerves more than me right now. But, arriving at camp, didn't bring me as much joy as I'd hoped. It was easy to tell once I spotted Shun walking around the tents, Ruri had already been taken by Yuri. 'Not like I can tell Shun who took her, he wouldn't know if he can believe me anymore or how I knew.. But I do hope Yuri will behave and be nice to her if he had to do it this time too.'

I had already checked the date via my duel disk, interestingly.. only a few days before I would've - or would Idk right now - collided with Yugo. I mean, it was after finding him that me and Shun decided to travel to the standard dimension.

"Shun!" I met up with him, then we went to eat in the big tent with the others. While telling of the few unlucky fusion soldiers that I met on my way back, Shun's mood got slightly better. I, for one, wasn't that happy nor unhappy for dealing with them. Afterall, I had carded them, that was our way of retaliation. Although, instead of stepping on their cards, I'm keeping them in a separate pocket of my jeans. 'Kinda smarter since their comrades can't pick them up or turn them back either'

After dinner I went to my own tent to relax. However, I must've not noticed while going to my tent, Dark Rebellion had shone through my pockets and upon sitting down taken me somewhere... My vision became dark blue, as dark as the night sky. Then, I was hearing things... And seeing them too.

[Welcome, Yuto, I hope you'll neither scream or ignore me after a few moments.]

"What...happened here."

Of course I also had horns on my head, and wings and tail. From what I could see, they are from our dragons. Looking more around, and seeing what I stood on, I noticed that Yuya's yet to come. But for now.. "YURI!!".

[Hm? It seems you have brought along some little toys in your pockets there Yuto.]

Yuya's POV

"Yuya~! Wa~ke up! Your going to miss school!"

I opened an eye, 'Mom?'. Blinking a bit sleepy, I noticed that I was in my room. To be precise on my messy bed.

Wait, did she say school?
'Why would I go to school? The principal has kick-, oh wait...Did we really go back in time!?'

I quickly got out of bed and changed my clothes. My shoes are my old ones..maybe I should ask mom to get me ones with Rollerblades once I dealt with the 'challenger' in a few days. I slid down the rod to get down where my mom was waiting for me with breakfast. My eyes squinted..she looked so happy.. 'No, Yuya, you must not cry now; be happy!'.

"Yuya? Is everything okay? You've been staring at me for quite a while now. Your gonna be late. Wait, where's your backpack?"

Like a bubble popping, I came back to reality. "Ah!? Oh, I must still be half asleep. I'll go get it real quick!" going back up and the same way down, I kissed mom on the cheek and went off with my lunchbox and some toast with jam. On my way, after running for a while, I managed to meet up with Yuzu. 'Guess I'll make it'.
