Look, for nine months, they tried to get me to believe my dad's dead, my sister believed it, I didn't.
They say I'm in denial. Whatever. Denial's underrated. You should try it sometime.
It's highly effective, and it's only denial if you're wrong. It doesn't make any sense. My dad is the last guy who would ever get lost at sea. This compass coming back to me and my sister, my father's compass, which was passed down for generations, it's a sign. My dad's still alive, and I'm gonna find him.

blair couldn't sleep that night, she stared at her ceiling. since blair and her friends Found her and John b' dads compass,it made blair second guess about her dad's death. Maybe something did happen to him and he didn't drown at sea?
"Blair. Blairrr!!!" a girly voice said shaking blair awake.
Blair eyes opened as she rubs her sleepy eyes. She stares beside her staring at kiara who's kneeling down beside her bed.
"hi kie, whats up?" Blairs sleepy voice ached as concern expression come upon her face. Kie stands up gesturing for blair to move over. Blair did and kie jumps in her covers, positioning herself, staring at her bestfriend.
"are you mad at me?" kie muttered out. Blair was confused for a second but remembering kie kissing her brothers cheek.
"I was but I'm over it now." Blair shared a sweet smile towards her bestfriend who sighed in relief. "was it because I kissed John b's cheek? I'm sorry. I didn't know what I was thinking." kie added.
"yes, and I accept your apology but I'm over it now." Blair smiled at kie who did the same.
" I have no clue where the others are." Kie said changing the subject "we have a shift today."
