Meeting her

Alexander's POV

It's been a long day and it's only 10:30. Interviewing all these ladies is a lot of work. It's especially hard when they all are throwing themselves at you. I will be alone in my office for about another 10 or so minutes until the woman I am supposed to be interviewing comes in at around 10:45.

So far no one is good enough. I don't know who we are gonna pick but we have to pick someone. They have to be perfect since they will be taking care of my little sister Evangeline. Eva is top priority. She needs a good role model.

I flip my wrist over to check my watch. 10:40 I guess we can call the next person in. I walk over to our intercom and buzz Alice.

"Alice you can bring the next person in but before that make sure to bring an extra glass of water for them too. Thank you"

"Yes sir, no problem. She is just outside of your room now."

Perfect, I can go get her myself I don't want to work Alice too hard she has been with my family even before I was born. She is like a second mother to me. I love Alice in a friendly way. As I'm heading to the door I hear my buzzer so I quickly answer.

"Hello?"

"Oh Alex my baby boy I love some news for you." My father says.

"What is it father?"

"Do you remember the Duncans from the west Palace."

"Yes sir of course I do"

"Well as you know they have a daughter around the age of 14 who would be perfect for you"

"Father, I am 21. How am I supposed to marry a child?"

"Well you have to marry someone to take of the throne"

"Yes yes father I know. I will think about it. Bye now" I definitely won't be thinking about it. Why would I marry a child? Whatever I need to get back to my interviews. I go and exit my office looking around the corner until I see the next client. I look at the list on my clipboard.

"Liza Shepherd. You may now come into my office." I say and she nods and gets up. When she stands up I'm caught in awe at what I see.

She is so beautiful. She looks to be standing around 5'2. Her big blue eyes look so easy to get lost in. Her hair is the most perfect gold blonde I have ever seen. It falls perfectly down her back stopping just below her rib cage.

Forget what I said about the other girls throwing themselves at me I will have to try and refrain myself from throwing myself at her.

Once she's up I quickly turn-around and head back into my office sitting in my black leather office chair. I have just enough time to compose myself before she enters.

"Hello Ms, Shepherd. I am Prince Alexander. Nice to meet you." I say while holding my hand out for her to shake it. Once she places her hand in mine I don't want her to ever let go. Her smooth silky skin against my rough skin is perfect. I let go of her hand and sit back down.

"Nice to meet you as well" she says sweetly with a smile. She's gonna be the death of me and I don't even know her yet. I clear my throat.

"It says here that you were a bank teller. Is that correct?"

"Yes sir it is"

"No other experience?"

"Other than babysitting when I was younger and basic household chores. No"

"OH ok perfect" she nods

"Yes sir."

"Please Call me Alex" as I say that a bit of heat rushes to her cheeks. "I'm going to ask you a few more questions and then you will be able to leave"

"Of course." And with that I get into the questions. She's perfect the way she talks and the way she answers all the questions with confidence she will be perfect to take care of Eva.

"Well I am done with all my questions. Do you have any?"

"No sir I don't"

"Please Call me Alex."

"Sorry Alex I will from now on." Oh my god the way she says my name. Is it weird that I take me horny? No one gets to call me Alex. Only her. Not even Eva calls me Alex.

"We will call you by tomorrow if you have got the job"

"Thank you sir- Alex '' she smiles and collects her things. I got out of my chair to open the door for her. I should really be a gentleman and walk her out. That's what I decided to do. What if she doesn't want to?. I don't want to mess up. I'll do it. I loop my arm with hers.

She seems shocked at first but then calms down and goes with it. We walk down the stairs in silence. Every so often we have to adjust our arms due to our hight difference.

I can't help but stare at her. She looks over at me so I quickly advert my eyes somewhere else. I'm pretty sure I heard a quiet giggle coming from her.

We get to the front entryway and I disconnect our arms and straighten myself out.

"Well Ms, Shepherd. Have a good day"

"You too Alex" she says softly. Oh she doesn't know what she does to me. I nod and open the door and she leaves.

The rest of my day is filled with interviews. Here we go yay... ughhh.
