What's Up (part one)

Brandy POV

It's been a week since I first got my job, the first couple of days were ruff. Not only because I was new but also because I am a female. Crack heads TRIED to rob me but I fought them off, everyday when I got off I would be tired as a dog because I had to fight so much. I guess people learned not to mess with me because, my customers by product from me without any trouble. Right now I am standing along side Asia trying to get rid of this last bit of product that I have, I almost have enough money to lease the open apartment space in Asia's building, I have been putting in extra work to ensure that I move before the end of this month. I'm excited that I get to move out soon, the abuse still goes on but he hasn't forced me to have sex anymore, I'm grateful for that.

Keith has been distant lately but I haven't pressed him about it, I'm not one of those girls that are down theirs mans back about where they at or who the with but trust and believe I will snoop through some stuff if I need to. Ever since our first big job Saturday he has been distant, but I will find out. Anyway, our first big job was fun, we had to go to a trap across town and steal product and money from them. I love the thrill of sneaking around, adrenaline is like my high.

Flashback (Saturday)

As Asia and I sit around her apartment gossiping our phones go off signaling that we need to come in for work. I quickly hop up and walk to Asia's bedroom and take some black cargo pants and a black hoodie to put on. After I slip on the clothes I slide my feet into my black and white converse and braid my hair back the place it into a bun. I look over to see Asia ready to go, she had on black joggers and a black long sleeve t-shirt. I grab my phone and head outside with Asia following right behind me. We walk down to the subway station and ride the train uptown 5 blocks. We walk the rest of the way. When I step up on the porch I scan my finger on the door nob and wait for the door to unlatch. When I does I quickly walk in. I walk down the hall and wait for Asia to come up before I nock on Catch's door. Once Asia come u I nock on the door, I soon hear his voice booming through the door saying "come in"

I slowly open the door and step all the way in, I look to see Keith and Messiah already in the office with their backs towards us. Catch voice echo's off the wall interrupting my thoughts

Catch-"So I called yall in today to give you a job. I want to see if yall are capable of more than just being dope boys...... and girls. I want yall to go rob one of my enemies the YNGM (Young Niggas Get Money) gang. If yall succeed I will give yall more jobs to do and that's more money for yall. I like how all work together, so whenever I assign jobs yall will be doing them together. There main trap is located on 52nd streets, it is an abandoned factory. Go get the job done, make me proud."

Everyone-"Okay Boss"

As if on cue, we all get up and head out the building. Without a single word we all walk down the street towards the train station. Nobody says anything for awhile because everyone is in there thoughts, probably thinking how this is going to turn out. I look over at Keith, he is leaning back in his seat with his eyes closed. I get up out of my seat and straddle Keith's lap. His arms immediately snake around my waist as if it is a natural action for him. He opens his eyes after a while ad looks down at me. He pecks my lips giving me a small smile. I can look at him and tell that he is stressed even though he is hiding it . I run my fingers through his hair and massage his head. He sighs of relief and closes his eyes and relaxes deeper into his seat. After awhile I stop, and he opens his eyes again looking at me.

Me-"What's on your mind? What's got you stressed out?"

Keith-he sighs, puling me closer into him "I really don't want to talk about it right now baby. How has your day been so far?"
