I opened my eyes and all I could see was white, it smelled like medicine and I felt dizzy.
"W- Where am I...?" I asked.
"Y/n! Oh my god you're awake!" Neil said running towards me and hugging me tight.
"Neil...Neil. Neil it hurts!" I shouted at him.
He was hugging me very tight and he was touching one of the many bruises I had.
"Oh sorry...are you okay?" Neil asked me with his hands in my shoulders.
"I think so? I don't know I feel...weird. And how did you find my anyways?" I asked him.
"I realized that you weren't home so I started looking for you and as I walked down the street I found you. I called an ambulance then I called our moms and yeah now you're here" He said.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry that I disappeared out of nowhere I just went for a walk because I couldn't sleep.." I said.
"Don't worry, at least you're okay now!" Neil said.
"And where are our moms?" I asked looking around the room.
"Oh they're at work. Remember they still have to go to work for at least a week more" Neil said.
"Oh okay. Um also Neil I have a question..." I said nervous.
"Yeah tell me" He said.
"Was there someone near me when you found me, you know, in the street?" I asked.
It could be a possibility that Veronica was still there so that Neil could report her to the police. Because I know that if I report her, she's somehow going to manage to say she's innocent.
"Um no..." he said.
"Damn it" I said putting my hand in my head.
"What? Is something wrong? Do I call the doctor?" He asked me.
"No! No. It's just that...Veronica, um..she was the one who did this. I'm sorry I couldn't protect me by myself.." I started tearing up "I'm sorry that everything I have to do I have to ask for help, I'm sorry Neil" I said between cries.
"Y/n..." He said.
"I'm sorry that I'm so incompetent and so dumb" I said.
"Y/n" He called for me.
"I'm sorry for not helping you and that you have to be like my babysitter when I'm 16, I'm sorry that I just popped out of nowhere and fucked your life up and-" I was cut off by Neil hugging me.
"Don't apologize. It's not your fault" Neil said.
"You have to understand that you're not alone Y/n. And that it's okay to ask for help" Neil said.
I started crying more than I was already doing.
"I love you, Neil" I said hugging him tighter.
"I love you too, Y/n" He said.
My phone rang with the song Y/f/s
"That really ruined the moment" I laughed letting Neil go.
"Hah yeah, do I check who it is or..?" Neil asked me standing up.
"Yeah go check please and thank you" I answered.
Neil went to check my phone that was charging in a table near me but not near enough for me to grab it. He looked at it and showed it to me.
