Chapter 1 :: hogwarts

It's the morning off the day i go to hogwarts.
" y/n get up your going to be late , it's 9:45 the train leaves at 11:30" my mum says opening my curtains , exposing me to broad daylight ahead.

She pulls my covers off the bed as I grab a pillow to try keep me warm.
"Stopp" i say as she rags the pillow out off my hands and continues to hit me with it jokily, "I'll get up , I'll get up" i say quickly, removing my self from the bed.

I head towards my bathroom and hop into the shower. I finish in the shower , brush my teeth , do my hair and make up and change into some mom jeans , a blue and white tank top and throw on a grey oversized jacket.

"Y/n we are going to be late for the train" she says grabbing my bags and placing them into the car boot.

I grab the rest off my belongings and jump into the car. " you excited for your new school love" my
mum says , turning the wheel as she leaves the drive.
" yeah , I'm gonna miss u mum " I say. 

" aww honey I'm gonna miss u guys too" she says , " at least you will all have each other , I'm gonna be lonely for a year".

I nod and stare out off the window for the rest off the journey.

We arrive at the train station and run to platform 9 3/4. Josh and Carl go first through the wall.
" say hello to the " dark lord" for me" my mum says jokingly. I run towards the wall and make it through.

Josh and Carl were waiting for me at the entrance to Hogwarts. " you took a while" josh says.
"Yeah , mum said to say hey to.." i say looking around cautiously, " the dark lord" I whisper .

" oh" he says shrugging it off. We walk towards the train and choose our carriages. Josh goes with his friends and Carl goes with him. Leaving me on my own.

I walk into carriage 49 and place my stuff on the opposite seat. I place my head on the window and drift off into a light sleep. The train driver stops for a quick break.

I wake up to a tall , dark haired boy standing in the door frame off my carriage. " your supposed to be wearing your robe yk" he says dropping his cigarette and standing on it.

"I don't have a robe , I'm new" I snap. " your not wearing yours".
"No shit , it's cause I do what I want , don't snap at me I can get u killed"  he says eyeing me.

"Oooh your hard" i say , " is your dad Voldemort or something". He looks at me and smirks.
"Shit, really" I say.
"Yeah, what u scared or something" he says moving closer into the carriage.

"Uh no , your dad and my mum are like best mates" i say. He looks at me confused. " Y/n black" i say holding my hand out.
"Ahhh sorry y/n , mattheo" he says , " mattheo riddle".

" it's okay, sit down" i say. 
" my dad has been talking about ur dad recently" he says.
"Yeah , don't worry I'm not here as a spy , what my dad did was fucked up" I say. He stares at me for a few seconds. " your kinda intimidating yk" i say.

He bursts out into laughter " it's okay I believe u
y/n" he says. " your dads a psycho, killing kids like that , how did u feel safe around him" he says.

" I didn't" i say remembering all the times he did things to me. A salty tear rolls down my cheek dropping into my mouth.

"I'm sorry , I didn't mean to make you upset y/n" he says embracing me in his strong masculine arms.
" it's not that" I say,  explaining everything to him.

" oh right" he says still holding in his arms.
"Yeah , it's okay" i say. I slowly close my eyes and fall asleep cuddle in his chest.

" y/n , love get up it's time to get off the train" he says stroking my hair. I open my eyes and look up at him " thanks for supporting me mattheo" I say.
" dw about it y/n , I'll always be here for you" he says.

Fuck that was hot 😳

We get off the train and mattheo was carrying my luggage. " it's really not necessary" i say looking up at him.
" it is , also ur really short" he says laughing at my height.

" just because u look like a tree , and I'm 5'5" I say pushing him lightly.  " short arse" he says, " I'm 6'0".

" you found ur self a lass , mattheo" a blonde boy shouts from behind.
"Fuck off Malfoy" he says. I look up mattheo and he smiles.

"Jeez" i say under my breath. We get on these little boats.

"What house do you think you will get into" he says.
"Umm well what do u think" I say sarcastically " obviously slytherin" I say.

"We will just have to see" he says nudging me , trying to make me nervous.

We arrive at the castle and get off the boats. Little carriages were waiting for our presence. We rode in the carriages until we got to the main entrance.

We left out luggage in the carriages as they will take them up for us. We enter the hall house by house. I had been instructed to stay out side off the hall as they would introduce me.

I stood out side off the door listening in on what Dumbledore was saying.

" Evening everyone, tonights feast will be in honour off our new student joining the Academy , I want you to welcome,  miss y/n black" he says.

I walk through the door and everyone began clapping as I sat down on the stool. Dumbledore placed the hat on my head and it's began to speak.
"Hmmm , this one's easy , SLYTHERIN" the hat shouts.

The slytherin table began to clap as I walked over to the table , shaking everyone's hands as I go to sit next to mattheo.

We began the feast and I finish pretty quickly because wasn't hungry enough to finish it. We go up to our dorm and place my bags down next to my bed.

I lay on my bed eventually falling asleep , after a long and tiring day....
