THE NEXT MORNING, the VKs and I attended our first class. Remedial goodness 101. It was extremely boring. The only slightly entertaining thing about it was when Jay and Carlos were fighting...again. Oh, and we got to meet Fairy Godmother's daughter, which was good since we need the wand asap.

After the boring class, Allison headed to Mal's locker and saw Evie there as well.

"Hey, Alli," both girls said.

"Sup, so what classes do you guys have?"

"I don't know and I don't care. I just want to leave this place as soon as possible" Mal groaned annoyingly.

"I mean, it's not as bad as it looks..." Evie said before she realized that Mal and I were both glaring at her. "Nevermind, it's terrible, I guess" she muttered.

"We're here for one thing only, destroy this awful place and make our parents proud" Mal said as I sighed.

"Can we stop talking about our parents for a sec? I mean, this is the first time that they're not around us and it feels kind of...freeing" Allison explained. She didn't hate her mother but she enjoyed being far away from her.

"You're right. It does feel pretty good not being with them right now" Evie admitted while fixing her makeup.

"Whatever, I'm gonna go see if I can find Jane to get more info on the wand. See you guys later" Mal walked away.

"I'm probably gonna go too cuz sadly we have to respect class schedules and I'm honestly not in the mood to be in trouble, I'll just sleep in class" Allison said.

"Okay, I'll see you later" Evie closed her locker and waved goodbye.

A few hours later, me, the girls and Carlos were chilling in the room when Jay walked pretty hyped up.

"Hey" he said while doing poses as Carlos whistled, impressed. Allison looked up, noticing he was wearing a tourney uniform shirt. She smiled lightly. She couldn't help but think that he looked pretty good. She shook her head at this thought. Ew, what the fuck!

"Nice shirt" she said, looking back down at her phone, trying to ignore her past thought.

"Thanks" he smiled back at her, happy he got her approval. Evie, noticing this interaction, smiled widely while doing her "boyfriend's" homework.

Jay walked over to Mal. "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?"

"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal said frustratedly.
