~Anthony's POV~
What am I doing? I'm torturing the one person that makes this life worth living. I ran a hand through my red streaked hair as I paced through my room, Ian slept soundly as I did. My angel was literally an angel. Ian seemed to glow in my dark room as his chest slowly rose and sank. I tried to inch closer to him but the angelic power radiating off of him burned my evil skin. I hissed in protest as I slid down my bedroom wall furthest from Ian. What is going to happen when he wakes up? Well, I was about to find out. I heard Ian groan slightly as the glow subsided. I walked up to him and noticed his features. His bowl hair was still messy from laying in my bed but it was a shade lighter. His skin was slightly tanned and untouched, as if I had never hugged or kissed him. He opened his beautiful blue eyes and smiled at me.

"Hey beautiful." I said.

Ian chuckled as I helped him off the bed, ignoring the pain in my hands. "I love you Anthony." Ian said.

I smiled. "I love you too Ian."Ian tried to kiss me and I met him halfway. Our lips fit together like they were two pieces of a puzzle. I expected to feel pain but didn't, I just felt bliss. I had the most precious person in the world kissing and telling he loved me. At that moment I didn't feel demonic or inhuman, I felt complete I finally had the one thing to make my horrible life worth living.

And then the gun.

We both pulled away as we need air. I sighed happily. I could die happy. I looked at Ian as he stepped away from me with a blank expression. "Demon." he muttered.

"Ian are you alright?" I asked.Ian then thrust his hand out and a gun materialized in his hand. Silver and gold laced throughout the weapon. It was delicate and deadly. Angel weapon. I backed up to the wall. Ian possessed the one weapon that could injure and possibly kill me. Why was he trying to shoot me?

A bright light flashed behind Ian and a man stepped out. He was wearing all white and had strange orange hair. The man chucked as he saw me against my bedroom wall with my 'mate' pointing a gun at me. I recognised him from Ian's high school.

"Remember me, emo boy?" He asked.

"Unfortunately. David your name was?"

David put his arm around Ian. I growled. "So you like him do you?" He laughed. "Don't you know who or what he is? You will never be able to love him."

"No, he does love me."

David smiled "Wrong again! Now, if you'll excuse me." He turned toward Ian. "Shoot."

Ian smiled as he pulled the trigger. "Ah!" I screamed as I fell to my knees. Blood oozed out of my shoulder blade.

"Oh, no" Ian said with no emotion. "I missed." Ian knelt in front of my face and placed the gun at my heart. I looked at him in his amazing blue eyes. Ian's smirk faded as he looked at me. "Anthony!" He yelled. "What happened-"

A slam came from my doorway across the room. My father stepped in. "Angel scum!" he said. "David." He growled.

"Hello Lucifer!" David smiled.

I groaned in pain as my vision started to fuzz. My father looked at me and Ian flinched. My father looked enraged. He thrust his hand at Ian and he flew away from me. I was in too much pain to speak, but I was screaming inside.

My father grabbed Ian by the collar. "You have caused my son too much pain you celestial asshole. Now be gone."

The light in Ian's eyes dimmed. "Please n-"

"I said NOW." My father growled. David yanked Ian towards him. "Don't think you will get him back, Demon Prince." He laughed as a bright light consumed them, taking my joy away.
