Chapter 19

Farah went to work she had a good day with the patients. Giovanni sent flowers every day. When Thursday came are you coming tonight baby? I haven't seen you since Monday sugar. I'll be there after coffee with your mom. After coffee with Kate Farah? Yes baby Kate.

Please do not give her my address or office location Farah. You don't have to tell me that baby I know how to protect the peace of my man. Thank you honey. How's Troy? Bearing up begging for ten minutes and I keep telling him you said no. If he knows he can fix it then it's us reinforcing his bad behavior.

Farah met Kate at a coffee shop near her job. Kate walked in identifying Farah because she told her she'd have on her medical scrubs. Farah stood hugging Kate the pair sat on the window watching people walk by.

Farah googled herself passing Kate her phone. A rising star who will change the face of Psychiatric care Doctor. Farah Xavier has made strides working with people with split personality disorder.

Instead of using medication she issues talk therapy and assists her patients with coming to terms with thier helpers as she calls them by accepting them instead of banishing them.

Kate stared in Farah's eyes as she sipped her creamy cappuccino.

Kate gently rested her mug on the table her eyes the same as Giovanni's he was a black man that adorned the features of his mother down to the large brown curls on his head. He had dark brown sexy skin which Farah adored.

I'm not proud of the mother I was please try to not judge me. I wasn't married to Giovanni's father he was a truck driver that I'd mess with when he was on the road. He was a married man so there was no future for us.

He had six girls of his own so when I had his boy he was ecstatic. This made him propose he felt the marriage was over the girl's grown there was no reason for him to stay.

We planned a wedding 300 people the day came and his father never showed I never saw him again Farah. I was left to raise Giovanni in my own and because he was a mixed child with brown skin my wealthy parent's wanted no part of him or me. They seized my trust fund and any fund that would go to Giovanni.

I tried working but with no real skill except home coming queen what could I do to make ends meet? I had a friend a rich friend I grew up with that I knew loved little boy's.

She paid handsomely to spend time with Giovanni. By the time he was sixteen she offered to pay me one million dollars for him. She said she'd fallen in love with him and that he'd be well taken care of upon her death.

The deal was to take place when he graduated. Apparently Gio told this to a black counselor at his school. He begged her to remain silent because he didn't want me to go to jail.

He and the counselor applied for Ivy league schools in full scholarship status and because my boy was smart with number's like his grandfather he had a 4.0 grade average for four years strait. There wasn't one college in the state that didn't want him.

Kate went in her purse handing Farah pictures and college acceptance letter's.

I had no idea of all this of course. One night my friend called afraid for her life I sped over there in the fog of night and Giovanni was tearing up the house.

We kept saying Giovanni calm down that's when he said my name is Troy stop calling me Giovanni. We felt it a joke first but no it wasn't.

Do you know what she said to possibly trip him? She told him she gave me the money to get me out if their lives permanently. It wasn't to purchase him it was to keep me at bay so they could marry and start a life...Giovanni snapped.

Giovanni wiped his hand's on a paper towel on his way out he tossed the towel and watch in the trash never looking back.
