I stumbled, laughing crazily at my own joke, "N-NO BODY TO G-GO W-HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH". I noticed a dude walking just before me and ran to him tapping his shoulder. "WANNA HEAR A JOKE?" He tilted his head in confusion, "I'm sorry do I know you?" Not answering his question, I responded, "Why don't skeletons ever go trick or treating?..B-BECAUSE TH-HEY HAVE NO B-BODY  TO GO WITH!"

"...."

"HAHAHAHHAHA"

"...I'm sorry are you mentally stable?"

I immediately stopped laughing and hiccuped while frowning, "e-excuse ME?! H-HOW DARE Y-YOU? IT WAS A JOKE"

Ignoring me, he walked away. I didn't realize he wasn't replying to me until after 2 minutes so I threw the can in my hand and hit him in the back making him stumble and almost fall but I grabbed onto his hoodie. "how could you ignore me like that?" I sniffled and sat down on the floor, rubbing my nose, "what d-did I do t-to you?" The boy panicked and tried patting my back to make me calm down, " it's not you,  I just have to be somewhere I'm sorry." He scrunched his nose in disgust as he got closer to me. "Did you drink?" he asked making me laugh and put my fingers together really close and I squinted my eyes, "just a liiiiiiiittle bit." I smiled and put my hands down. The boy put his hand to his temples and sighed, "where do you live? You look underage and if the police find you you're most probably gonna get in trouble". I pointed left, "Taxi. I want to go on taxi to home" The boy grabbed my wrist and pulled me up, dragging me to the taxi station and getting me in a taxi, when I told the driver my address. "BYE BYE NICE BUT MEAN GUY" I bade farewell to the guy, waving my hand crazily. He waved back lightly and walked off. "What a kind guy" I murmured, wondering if I would ever see him again. Shoving a few notes into the driver's hand, I bowed until my hair touched my knee and ran off to the door. I entered the empty home and jumped into my bed, falling asleep immediately.
