As Hongjoong regained conciousness, he nuzzled his face into the back of his partner.
Then quickly furrowing his brows, remembering the fact that he does not have a partner, and he went to bed alone last night.
He shot upright, his confused gaze never leaving Seonghwa's body that was now turning towards him.
"What's the face for?" Seonghwa asked, looking up at Hongjoong. He had been awake for an hour give or take, but decided he would bask in the comfort of his arms for as long as he could while it lasted.
"Why are you here?" Hongjoong bluntly asked, still confused, and not really remembering the night before.
"Should I not be?" Seonghwa asked, genuinely hurt by the response, an unsatisfied expression growing on his face.
"No, you should be here," Hongjoong said. Accidentally letting a glimpse of his real feelings for his friend show through.
"Really?" Seonghwa asked, delighted by this reply. His expression quickly changing from dissatisfaction to joy.
"I mean, Yeah, if that's what you want....." Hongjoong said, barely over a whisper. He looked down at his hands that fiddled with the fabric of his sweats.
"Perhaps I do want that," Seonghwa said, sitting up on his spot on the bed and taking Hongjoongs hand into his own.
They grinned sweetly at each other before getting up and making their way to the dining hall. Hongjoong quickly grabbed a tank top on his way out. Pulling it on as he closed the door behind him, which San saw, coming from the other end of the hallway.
"Jongho wasn't lying...." San said, his face turning bright red, quickly speeding down the hall to pretend that he hadn't seen what he thought he saw.
"Wait! San! It's not what it looks like!" Hongjoong called after him, and began to speed walk after him to explain himself. Leaving Seonghwa giggling in the hall.
