This is Doctor Frederick Garrett researching the creatures known as groundwalkers, or as Dr Flint refers to them, rubber humans.
We do not know the exact origins of these false humans, but our lab scientists have a theory about them being prehistoric predators that we are based on.
They have no eyes since they spent millions of years underground in the dark, evolving to use sound to locate their position. They seem to be able to communicate despite only speaking in screeching and howling.
