I'm in my office, working on the things Mateo couldn't handle. Most of them are about the clubs and taxes and all that shitty work; no wonder he lets it over to me.

I don't complain though, it keeps me rather busy so I don't need to think about what happened this morning.

That snake of a Roberto has this all planned out. I thought I was smart, planning this marriage with him but now I begin to regret every second.

It all started with one meeting we had and before I know this amazing plan of marrying came to mind. 'perfect' was what I though back then.

One, because he's a Drug lord and two, part of me hoped Sebastian would get jealous and eventually ask me to be with him but I must've known better.

That man isn't ready for commitment; not even with Ava.

I know him too well. It's forced what they have though I guess she doesn't know. Too blind by his attractiveness.

I was too the first few years when we were hitting it off. I honestly though he would be it. The guy I desired, wanted, needed although now, now he stabbed me with knife in my back when I least expected it.

'Hate' is the least I can say...part of me wants to kill him but part me can't because he's my first love and you never get over your first love.

Not even me.

Footsteps past my door, leading them to Mateo's right next to me. He's not even working today.

Emily is a little sick so he decided to stay home for a few days and I send him all the work via mail so who is this?

Better be safe than sorry so I take my gun with me. Keys the only sound is the hallway; no guards either because I told them not too come here today. Now I regret even bothering.

Opening my door slightly I let out a sigh which makes Kevin, Mateo's bodyguard turns quickly, hands reaching for his gun.

"Miss. El Ricci," he greets, putting his gun back in place.

"Call me Olivia, please. We've known each other for years Kevin," we both smile at one another. "What are you doing here?" he holds the keys to Mateo's office up.

"Boss asked me to pick up some files he forgot to bring with him."

"Right," we both look uncomfortable at each other, waiting who will break the ice first and I guess it's him.

"Why you're wearing a scarf today? It's 86°F," he looks suspicious at it and I try to hit it away by changing the subject. I still have hand marks from Roberto and I tried to cover it up with make-up but failed miserably.

"Is Emily alright?" he nods, giving me a short heads up with what's going on. "Hope she gets better. Could you stop past a fruit store and buy her a fruit basket," I give him my card, "buy a get-well-soon card too if you can," he nods and take the clubs card I give him.

"Olivia?" my younger brothers footsteps make their way up the stairs, making my head turn.

"Celeb?" he waves me over, gesturing I follow him, "What's wrong?" Kevin is standing behind me with the files, offering Celeb a short nod before leaving.

"We found something at the Club Nature; you need to see this," his voice is laced with panic and if you know my brother as well as I do, you'd know he's never panicked. At all. You can hold a gun against his head and demand he tells you the family secrets and he'd rather die then tell you; not a sweat breaking either.
