If I Die || Short Story's

Open Waters

Calm, rushing, fast, smooth, and harsh all the different types of water. Hyrule's great bridge collapsed along with many other bridges across Hyrule. The means of travel where growing slim. Along with not many ways to travel the Princess Zelda had gone missing saying that she had gone down with one of the bridges. Link he bodyguard was with her when it happened and now he laid there on the end of a beach near a cave holding Zelda's hand pulling her to shore. 

"Thank....you...Link." Zelda said as she coughed up some water.

Link nodded his head yes and helped Zelda onto her feet. The sand was all wet and air was cold, they had gone down with Hyrule's great bridge but where they were did not match up. Link looked into the cave not being able to see much he was able to lead Zelda into the cave and have her sit down.

"It is cold in here." Zelda announced as Link looked around to find something to burn. 

There in the corner of the room was a pile of old crates and barrels with a torch piled under them. Link moved one of the barrels and grabbed the torch. He found a darkish rock and hit the torch hard onto the rock making a spark and setting it on fire. 

"Thank you again Link." Said Zelda as Link gave the torch to her.

With the new amount of light Link was able to see most of the cave it was not too large but not to small. He walked around again and was able to find another small passage. Link showed Zelda and she chose to follow him on in, Link had his hand on his sword and kept a close eye on what was around them. 

"Look at this Link, it is an old map of Hyrule." Zelda showed Link as he looked at the map seeing it to look different than the maps they had now. "What are all of these on the map?" Asked Zelda as she pointed out the red dots on the map. 

Link looked at the dots and found there to be only ten dots. Each one was for a different town cross the lands of Hyrule. Link looked back at Zelda to find her gone and a dark passage ever growing in front of him. Link quickly ran forwards, trying to catch up with Zelda. Link made it to the need to only be thrown through some sort of portal and stood inside of a room looking like some sort of arena. 

"Where am I?" Link asked yet he did not think he spoke only said what he thought. 

"It is time to see wither or not you are champion or a failure." Said a voice as three blue creatures jumped into the arena. 

"Okay, then lets fight." Said Link as he grabbed at his sword to find it not to be there. "Well shi..."
