God, he is so hot. Those shockingly blue eyes. That black lip ring, piercing through his perfectly-sculpted bottom lip. His fluffy, messy quiff of blonde hair. I can literally feel myself drooling at the sight of him. He is Luke Hemmings, the high school's well known girl-charmer. And I've had a crush on him ever since I've layed my eyes on him.

He is standing tall with only three of his other friends by the parking lot of the school, probably waiting for the school bus to swoop by and pick them up. Whilst he's being a damn social butterfly, I am all alone, leaning my weight on the main entrance door frame. This is my usual after school activity. Luke-gazing while waiting on my friend Andrea to pick me up so we could go out for our afternoon meal; which is usually a burger and fries. Wow, my life is so uninteresting. No wonder I only have two friends.

Suddenly, his eyes shoot to mine, my thoughts disappearing faster than the speed of light. I want to look away from his gaze but my eyes won't move. I watch his lips curve into a slight, half-smile as he glances toward the ground, leaving my heart skipping beats second by second. His perfectly-white teeth graze over the black metal as I watch his Van-covered feet start to shuffle my way. He is walking toward me. Luke Hemmings is walking in my direction to make conversation with me. The Luke Hemmings is going to talk to me.

I feel my knees start to go limp and I'm almost sure that I am going to throw up. Once he finally stands in front of me, he flashes me that same smile just as before, and my eyes don't dare to go anywhere but directly to his. And wow, his eyes are way more deadly up close.

I don't know if you have ever gotten the chance to speak to your crush, but if you have; you know exactly how I am feeling right now. My stomach feels warm and giddy, and it's flipping and flopping over like a pancake in a skillet. My face hurts so bad from how much I'm smiling, and he probably thinks that I look like an idiot, but I don't know how to stop it. He hasn't even said a word to me yet and I'm lighting up like a Christmas tree.

After an awkward, yet thrilling, silence of nothing his glowing, plump lips form words. "Hey Nicola," His voice and accent are both low but there is a small squeak in it. But wait. How does he know my name? Almost no one knows my name, except my two best friends. Luke gets treated as if he were a celebrity here at our school, so how in the world does he know my name?

"Hi." I awkwardly manage to quip out. I could hardly come up with a better greeting for him because, somehow, it seems as if he's anxious about something too. I would tell you why he is nervous, but really I'm just as clueless as you are. I have no idea why Luke is acting this way. He's never nervous around girls or any person in general.

Out of nowhere, his slender fingers are entwining with mine and he's starting to pull me down the vacant hallway along with him. The dismissal bell that let us free had already rung several minutes ago, so every student and just about every teacher is already out of the school; so, therefore, we were completely alone. And that fact is starting to make me freak out a little inside.

He pauses in front of a door that lead directly into the Janitor's closet, and now I'm even more confused. He tries to sneak a glance at me through the corner of his eye, but I caught him and he immediately looks away.

I couldn't take the suspense any longer, "Why are we-" I find myself saying but get interrupted because his strong force tugged me inside the small, closed-off storage room. He is standing very close to me now. So close that I can feel his warm, unsteady breaths soak into my pores. And I think I'm going to lose my cool, but I remain paralyzed from my actions, my eyes staring up into his since he was quite taller than me.

"Finally," He grins sweetly, his hand letting go of mine to travel to the curve of my neck. A chill runs down my spine as I just stare up into his dominantly blue orbs. I didn't know what to do, but stand there clueless and oblivious to what is about to happen. Is he going to kiss me?

"Luke... What a-" I attempt to speak, but I'm interrupted yet again, except this time I'm interrupted by his perfect lips plunging right into mine. And right here, time is no longer ticking. I feel like I'm floating and there is nothing holding me down from my flight. I no longer feel the stress-related weight on my shoulders because of his miraculous lips. And his warmth. All I ever need in life is his warmth. The heat from his touch feels like a raging fire, but it's comforting in a strange way, and I don't want it to end. I never thought that Luke, of all people, would actually kiss me, and here we are in the storage room making out.

Damn, he's a great kisser. Shit Nicola, of course he is. Just think of how many girls he's probably practiced on.

Discontinuing my flight along with Luke, a janitor turns the knob to the door and walks right in on us. Luke immediately breaks away from me, leaving me both flabbergasted and embarrassed from the janitor. The janitor eyes us for a good moment whilst he snatches his yellow sponge mop from beside me as Luke starts giggling innocently. I'm joining him now because his laugh is so contagious and the look on the janitor's tan face is absolutely priceless. I could only imagine what he's thinking right about now.

Once the janitor leaves, Luke's gaze returns back down to my eyes as he just smiles. His eyes are shimmering as if his eyes were the ocean during the day time, the sun making the surface of the water glisten uncontrollably. I can't tell if I'm smiling back because I'm just so lost in the beauty of his eyes. "Nicola. I really like you. And I've liked you for a while, but I've been hiding it." He admits and shrugs his shoulders as if it meant nothing, but it meant everything to me.

Here I am with Luke Hemmings, after we just got caught kissing in a storage closet by a janitor. He's admitting to me that he likes me and that he's been liking me for a while now. This has to be a dream because Luke Hemmings wouldn't tell a girl like me that he's falling for her. This makes no sense.

"Are you serious?" I ask, probably sounding so idiotic. He raises his eyebrows and his eyes go wide. Yep. I sound extremely stupid. "I mean, are you sure you like me?"

He clears his throat and glances toward the ground before answering. "I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't like you." His eyes are looking back into mine now. And when it happens, I can't help but feel so dominated. That deep, oceanic blue gets me every time. And now I feel really dumb.

"Oh," Is all I fucking answer him with and now he's reaching for the door knob with no further adieu. He turns the knob rather slowly until it clicks and grants him access to leave. He steps out of the way to let me go first and I smile at him and oblige. I thought he was just going to leave me here, like a jerk, but he proves me wrong. Before I actually get the chance to step a foot into the hallway tiled-floor, he grabs my hand and stops me.

"I almost forgot," He starts, "Don't tell anyone that this happened, not even your friends, okay?"
