Yelan made her way to the khaenri'ah agency, ready to face her enemy.

At the khaenri'ah agency...

"Shenhe! Did you seriously have to kidnap my boyfriend?!" Yelled chongyun.

"Yelan kidnapped you, so I'm just returning the favor." Said shenhe as she walked.

"Shenhe! Yes, they kidnapped me and tied me up. But they didn't lock me up in a dark room with only one window, with no food and leave me to go insane!" Said chongyun.

Shenhe stopped and turned to chongyun.

"Chongyun, we, in the khaenri'ah agency, do things completely different around here. If it wasn't xingqiu interrogating you, they would have done worse to you." Said shenhe.

"You could have chosen anyone else to have as a hostage and you chose my boyfriend?!" He yelled.

"She kidnapped my nephew so I'm kidnapping hers." She said.

"I don't know if you know this but, by kidnapping xingqiu, you're not only hurting Yelan, but you're also hurting me. This pains me more than being kept as a hostage." Said chongyun.

"Chongyun, I warned you multiple times that by dating someone from another agency, you're not only putting yourself at risk, but you're also putting everyone in both agencies at risk. Your relationship is what holds everyone's lives at risk. If you really want to help create peace, they end your relationship with him. But if you want to ruin world peace, they you can keep your precious relationship. A couple days from now, a war might commence and you have to be present. It will be a fight between spies and assassins and you're putting life at risk. Which also means you're sacrificing yourself. If you manage to survive, they you'll be one of the ones to witness world peace. But if you die, then that's the end. Do you understand me?" Explained shenhe.

Chongyun stood in silence but soon made his way to xingqiu's room. Once he got to his room, he was let inside and turned on the light.

"Who is it?" Asked xingqiu.

"It's me." Said chongyun.

"Chongyun. Please get me out of here. Please. I can see anything, it feels dark, I'm starving. I can't even see you." Cried xingqiu.

"I'm sorry, xingqiu. I'll see what I can do to get you out." Said chongyun as he tried to hold in his tears.

"I need to tell you something, xingqiu." Said chongyun as he grabbed a chair and sat down.

"Yea?" Said xingqiu.

Chongyun took off xingqiu's blindfold as he stared deeply into his eyes.

"We should break up." Said chongyun.

"What...?" Xingqiu said as he was greatly confused.

"We're in a difficult position right now. Our relationship depends on whether we create or demolish world peace. I think we need to take a break." He said as they both broke into tears.

Chongyun wiped his tears and connected his forehead to xingqiu's.

"I promise, once this is over, We'll be together once again." Said chongyun.

He walked out of the room and xingqiu burst out crying. Chongyun also burst out in tears as they were both heartbroken. Shenhe walked out of the room that she was watching both of them in and stood there.
