Author's POV
Wu couldn't believe that it was actually a boy, with long hairs, but the boy looked like he jumped straight out of a Chinese manhwa, he looked like men of old chinese times where there was the Chinese dynastic rule, long hair, tied in a ponytail (or a bun sometimes), eyes squinted but deep, and sharp jawline which gave perfection to the face. The boy trembled with fear, he was not afraid of girls, but Wu's deep voice send a shiver down his spine. Also, the fear of getting caught was getting the best of him to not stop shivering. He slowly moved his head to the side of his shoulder and looked with brown, scared eyes which also carried a slight horror in them.
"P-please, don't hurt m-me..." He stuttered. Wu noticed the boy was scared, but not here to cause harm to anyone. " Stop stuttering. I won't hurt you if you tell me why you're here. You don't have to be scared." Wu replied. She made him sit on the couch and brought a glass of juice for him. He picked it up with a 'thank you' and started talking.

"You're Wang Xiao wu, descendant of Wu clan, aren't you?" He asked.

"Yes. I am." Wu answered.

"Great! It seems I've reached the right place."

"What? What do you mean? Who are you?"

"Oh, sorry... I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Wen lian, your spirit guide. In fact, I'm from the Wen family of spirit guides who have accompanied the Wang dynasty for centuries. The Wens have served the Wangs for a long time. Many Wangs have came before you and were accompanied by spirit guides to help them throughout their lives or whenever they faced a serious problem. You may not have asked for my help, but I'm ordered by your ancestors to help you through the problem that your facing, which, if I'm not wrong, is your twin sister's sudden dea-"
"Ok ok shut up! H-how do you know about that?" Wu asked getting shocked and confused at the same time.
Lian blinked two times and then smiled and said. " Wu, please believe me. I'm your tiger spirit guide and I'm here to help you. If you don't believe me then look at the back of my hand and your hand."
And he was right, wu looked at both of their hands and could see that they both had the same dragon mark on their hands. The difference was just the color. Wu had a black one while lian had a red one that indicated that lian is Wu's spirit guide and wu is lian's master.
