Guard dog (Jjba x reader?)

Chapter 6: Arena

Kars stood up and made his way towards the two, with you following just slightly behind him. "We need a proper time and place for our battle. Wamuu. Your thoughts?"

"We fight tonight, under the full moon! At the foot of piz berlina. We meet at the skeleton's heel stone circle."

"A stone circle?"

"Hey! You can't just pick a place that suits your fancy!" Jojo said as he pointed at him.

"Wamuu, i think that's a fine choice. Now the stone... Jojo! Bring the stone to the skeletons heel at midnight tonight. And be sure to remove the bomb. The woman stays here as insurance." Kars said before turning away, and disappearing in a flash of light.

Wauu walked away, disappearing in the wind. And now, the only ones in the room was you, the vampires, and the two outsiders.

"Lisa lisa!"

"They don't want us to run." She said as you turned towards them. "It's a reasonable request. Go and fetch the stone. Don't worry about me."

"Right. But..." Joseph paused and turned to you. "What about her? Hey, you're human aren't you?" He said as you stared at them.

"If you are done with your conversation, i shall confirm the location once again. Tonight, under the full moon, you will fight at the foot of pilz berlina, just 15 km southeast from here. You will meet us at the skeletons heel stone circle. Many warriors found death or glory in that place."

"Yeah yeah we got it. But... what are you doing here with them?" Joseph asked as you stared blankly at him.

"I have no reason to answer to you."

"You're not just some normal human to them huh?"

"I do not have an answer to that."

"You... you have hamon. Don't you?" This time it was lisa lisa who asked.

"I think you have outstayed your welcome." You said, your blank stare now a glare directed at joseph. "Collect the stone. You best arrive on time."

There was a pause before joseph turned and walked out of the room. As midnight came closer, you brought lisa lisa to the designed location. And of course, jojo showed up with the red stone of aja. And to show that it's real, he held a match to it, and a red beam came from the stone. The two jumped down from the piller they were standing on.

"It's the real thing." Kars said. "We accept your bargain. We'll fight you one on one."

"And what about her?" Jojo asked as you glanced at him.

"I will not be fighting." You said as kars glanced at you. "I'm only here to make sure no one broke the rules. i'm simply a guard dog."

Joseph glanced at lisa lisa before handing the red stone to her. You watched silently as the two talked about something, but you mostly drowned it out.

"Now, prepare the arena!"

In the middle of the arena, a large fire was lit. A few minutes later, there was a loud rumble.

"They're here. Now the battle can begin."

"I-Is that a dinosaur?!" Joseph said as the horses came running. Is he stupid? Dinosaurs? "N-no! They're horses!"

'yeah no shit.'

"Lord kars, lord wamuu, please move!" The vampire holding the reins yelled, trying to control the horses. "They've gone berserk!"

Wamuu stood up. And right before the horses ran into wamuu, they stopped, lowering their heads as the pillar man stroked it. "What fine steeds."

"We used masks to turn these horses into vampires." Kars said as the two turned to him.

"V-vampire horses?!"

"In this arena, jojo will face wamuu in an ancient-style chariot duel!"

"A chariot dual?"

"An ancient roman death match!" You'll ride through the arena while you fight!" One of the vampires said. Of course, Joseph had concerns about the horses being under kars and wamuu, but it was quickly cleared up.

When everything was done and prepared, it began. You stood besides kars and lisa lisa, watching the battle yourself. Joseph had grabbed the hammer, but wamuu just grabbed the whole pillar itself. As the battle went on,  you found yourself with a bottle of wine in your hands. While pouring wine into kars glass, you watched as the battle carried on.

There were plenty of times where joseph should have died, or at least severely injured, but he always just got up. And in the end, it was joseph's victory. Watching silently as wamuu became dust and joseph giving a last salute to him

"Wamuu. He was too pure a warrior." Kars said as you passed the bottle to some random vampire. "That purity made him weak."

"Hey, wamuu just lost." A vampire besides you said.

"What a disappointment."

"That fool was just posturing."

Not a moment later, the three vampires were dead. They were skewered, and had their blood drained.

"That was well deserved." You muttered as kars retraced his blade. Making your way over to the three vampires, you sent a wave of hamon towards them, and they disintegrated.

when you glanced back at kars though, he had removed the cloth covering his head, revealing his long purple hair, and three horns on top of his head. Ignoring the vampires who were cheering, you turned your attached to the ones that tried to attack Joseph and lisa lisa. They had to stop since she took out the red stone and threatened to smash it.

"i'm a man of my word. one-on-one. My promise still stands." Kars said as you made your way over to him. "That's why i revealed my horn to you. As for my underlings behavior, they're already dead, as you can see."

As you followed after him, you took a glance back to see the vampires that jumped at the two humans cut into pieces.

"All i want is that red stone. However, Wamuu and Esidisi were my comrades for 10,000 years. I must honor both their deaths and their pride. I will fight you hamon-users fairly, and finish this with my own hands."

With the two following behind, you reach a temple ruin. Kars jumped onto one of the many beams holding what was left of the ruins. "It's not an arena, but it'll add to our fight."
