OK For Now

Steve's thoughts get interupted by Eddie walking into the RV, "hey what's up man?" Steve asks while eddie sits down.

"oh we got everything ready so Wheeler said we'll discuss more in the RV so here i am," Eddie said laughing slightly at the end but continues talking, "how's your arm?" Eddie asks pointing at Steve's broken arm.

"oh yknow except for being broken it's fine," Steve responds chuckling and others start coming in.

"alright so, we'll go over the plan so everyone knows what we're doing," Nancy starts, as everyone nods, steve does the same but looks away also, "so, Steve will be the distraction bringing Dustin and Eddie with him, Lucas and Erica will distract the demo-bats for me Robin and Max to get in through the upside down, if nothing goes wrong Vecna will be defenseless trying to get to Steve while me Robin and Max take him out and Lucas and Erica successfully get back through the gate safely after getting the demobats attention," Nancy finishes and looking at everyone noticing Steve looking away, she stares at him and the others notice.

"Harrington?" Eddie says more asking ifs he's there.

"yeah?" Steve looks over to Eddie and the others.

"you ok with the plan?" Nancy asks.

"oh yeah i am," Steve says distantly looking through the window this time, still worried for him the others continue they all sit down, and Steve speaks up "how about before we go back to Munson's trailer and the Creel house rest up and eat until it's time to go? I can still drive so i can go get us something to eat while you guys rest," Steve suggests knowing it's a good idea but the others still say no.

"well first off, I didn't want Eddie driving I won't want someone with a broken arm driving either," Robin states sitting down, "I may not be able to drive well or have my licsnsed but i'm not letting you."

"Second, you need more rest than all of us, you're gonna be cursed by Vecna again and you already have a broken arm it won't take long to kill you if you aren't rested properly," Max states with a serious face and tone then giving him her headphones and sitting back down.

"plus youre forgetting I can drive too," Nancy says, "we'll dop what you suggest  but you'll get rest and i'll drive," Nancy finishes sitting in the drivers seat.

"it'll be fine Stevie lets sit in the back cmon," Eddie says bringing Steve to the back of the RV and sitting down on the couch, Steve bounces his foot nervously replaying what the sistorted Vecna Eddie said in his mind every time he tries to talk to Eddie

"Harrington, you sure you're ok?" Eddie asks putting his hand on the thigh of Steve's bouncing leg to comfort Steve.

"yeah i am don't worry Munson," Steve anwsers with a forced smile.

"i don't buy it, you did't flirt with me at all, normally my Steve Harrington would say "aw you worried about me Munson?" and put your hand on mine," Eddie said half jokingly before contining, "what's actually wrong?"

"im fine just shaken up i guess," Steve anwsers lying to the one he loves, he lets himself "I'm only lying because of Vecna and the stupid things he says, all the stupid accurate things he said" Steve thinks to himself.

"you can talk to me if you need now get some rest," Eddie says with a comforting smile as he starts to move to the floor.

"hey wait you can stay up here," Steve says grabbing Eddie's arm and quickly letting go after a flash of the distorted Eddie goes through his mind.

"you sure?" Eddie asks Steve before sitting down as Steve nods, "you wanna talk or do you wanna sleep?" Eddie asks Steve leaning his back against the wall instead of the back of the couch too look at Steve and he does the same but on the wall across from Eddie.

"talk I guess, i don't think ill get any sleep right now," Steve anwsers with a small smile and Eddie smiles back, "also about what you were saying, in the woods about me and Nance," Steve says looking down.

"What about it?" Eddie asks with a raised eyebrow. 

"I don't like Nance like that anymore but either way thank you for the adivice," Steve smiles at Eddie, "I think i might like someone else, it sucks knowing we probably won't be able to and it sounds stupid right? worrying about my dumb crush while the worlds about to end."

"I don't think so dude, nothin wrong with worrying about the lucky girl whose got Steve Harrington to have a crush on her," Eddie teases trying to cheer Steve up who slightly winces to the word girl knowing thats who he's supposed to like, he just wishes he was normal as he thinks about lots of things until Eddie snaps him back to reality, "Harrington? you there dude?" Eddie asks waving his hand in front of Steve's face.

"shit! yeah I'm here!" Steve responds where Eddie chuckles because of him and Steve chuckles too.

"I thought Vecna already got to you," Eddie jokes knowing he actually did think that.

"not yet don't worry Munson," Steve responds with a small laugh.

"you better not die on me though Harrington," Eddie says flirting and joking at the same time with a wink towards Steve, who blushes slightly but laughs.

"guess i have to live now," Steve responds wanting to flirt more or even let himself tell Eddie it was guy he had a crush on but every time he thinks about it the stupid fake Eddie and what he said gets in his head.

"you better," Eddie laughs as they both stop leaning on the wall and are closer Eddie leans his head on Steve, to which Steve freezes but leans his head onto of Eddies and they let themselves fall asleep, Steve hoping it's peaceful.

it wasn't, Steve had a nightmare about the vurse Vecna set on him and the visons kept on replaying every time he escaped. Not peaceful at all.
