Fallen, but got back up again

"EDDIE STOP!" your shaking as Jason is on the floor with eddie on top of him, punching as hard as he can.
"EDDIE PLEASE STOP! EDDIE I'M SORRY JUST PLEASE STOP!" y/n screams, grabbing Eddie's shoulders, trying hard to pull him off of Jason.

Eddie stops to look back at you, but Jason swings, knocking Eddie off of him.
"YOU FUCKED WITH THE WRONG GUY, FREAK!" Jason is punching Eddie right in front of your face. What were you doing, standing there watching Jason give Eddie the beat down of his life. You couldn't move, nor talk, but just stare.

Eddie is gasping for air, while Jason is still on the move.
"Y-y/n..help..." Eddie trys to talk, but gurgling the blood that's in the back of his throat. (Like how he was talking in the show when he was dying.)
Your eyes come back to light, and hop to Jason, pulling him off of Eddie.
"Jason, baby just calm down..." you say, looking up at him.
He grabs his fist, and rubs off the pain.

Eddie is lying on the floor, gasping for air, choking on his own blood.
You race over to him and lift him up.
"Come on Eddie, sit up.." you couldn't hold back your tears.
"Come on just get up love." you say, helping him stand up.
You put his arm around your shoulder, sobbing what seemed 1 thousand tears.
"It's ok princess, Ive got myself." Eddie says trying to walk by himself to the bathroom.
"No Eddie come on." you make your way to the restroom with him.
"You're really taking his side y/n?!" Jason says to you.
"Come on Jason, have a heart for once in your life. Eddie's my best friend. You're just my new ex." you say, still crying, but not as much.

Somehow you felt whole after breaking up with Jason. You felt, alive, and safe.

"Come on Eddie, sit down here." you say, grabbing a wet paper towel, cleaning up the access blood on Eddie's face.
"At least he didn't break my nose." Eddie laughs. You smile, now that you know the fight didn't get to him.
"I love how you still make jokes after all of that." you say, still cleaning the blood off of his face.
Silence fills the room for almost two minutes.
"Ouch!" Eddie says, jerking his head back.
"Sorry ed." you say smiling.

"I'm sorry y/n." Eddie says to you, clearly taking it seriously now.
"It's ok ed. You we're just looking out for me. Showing my hickeys was a slutty move. I have no idea what I was think-" Eddie shushed you with his finger.
"Sorry.. Speaking out again?" you say nervously. Eddie smiles and nods.
"I love you y/n." Eddie says, stopping you from cleaning his face.
"I love you too Eddie." y/n says smiling.

Did y/n just friend zone me? Well, there's my answer. I guess it's never gonna happen.
While y/n finishes cleaning up my face, she bandages my cuts, and gives me one last hug before she leaves to home.
I can't believe I did that. I ruined
Y/n's relationship with Jason, and now i look like more of a freak with all these cuts on my face. Tomorrow is going to be a hell of a day.

"Hop in, sweetheart!" Eddie yells to you while running out of your house.
"WOOHOO! New car baby!" you say, hopping into Eddie's dream car. It has sick designs, with red leather seats. His outfit today looked so hot, you couldn't take your eyes off of him.
He was wearing black leather pants, with a white and black shirt, a leather jacket, and of course his rings that make his hands as sexy as ever. After yesterday, you've gained intense feelings for him. You can't wait to prompose to him. He has no idea when or what's going to happen, but it most certainly will happen!

Later

You are sitting at your lunch table, chatting and giggling with Chrissy, just waiting for the right moment.
"Wait- you want to ask Eddie to prom?" Chrissy says. Oh shit, you forgot to tell her about you and Jason.
"Oh uh, yeah. I forgot to text you last night, but me and Jason broke up because he beat the living shit out Eddie, and when I went to help Eddie up- because he was literally CHOKING ON HIS OWN BLOOD - he said I was choosing sides." You exclaimed, with not a care I'm the world what happened.

To be honest, you're glad it happened. You got closer to Eddie, and you were finally free from Jason's chokehold of a relationship. Now, all you wanted was Eddie, and his great style, great hair, great body.. and just a great everything ! You love the fact he called you princess, or sweetheart. It made your stomach flutter. Happiness had overcome you that day when he said, "I love you."

"Y/n?? Hello!!" Chrissy said waving her hand to make you come back to consciousness.
"Oh shit sorry, I zoned out just thinking."
"Well, when are you gonna ask?" Chrissy says, relating to the prom situation with Eddie.
"Uh actually, I don't think i should ask anymore.." y/n sobs.
"Omg, why?" chrissy asks.

"Idk, I guess I just don't feel like it anymore." you lie.
"oh, ok??" chrissy says, continuing to eat her food in front of her. You feel so guilty for friend zoning Eddie yesterday. What if he liked you, but now has to move on because of it! You're fucked.
