Now that everything was fixed with Bernie, Olivia and Elliot could finally pick up the pace regarding the wedding planning. They completed their pick for a venue, which was this enormous park with lots of flowers and plenty of space for tents. The next big step was Olivia's dress.
"Mama?" Maureen asked, as she followed Olivia into a dress shop. Kathleen was with them too, but Olivia was worried that the kids might not be a lot of help.
"Yes, baby?" Olivia asked nervously.
"Are you excited about today?" Maureen questioned, and Olivia stopped as she held on to Kathleen's hand.
"Not really." Olivia admitted with a small frown.
"What? Why?" Kathleen asked, as she looked up at Olivia.
"I'm just nervous. What if your daddy doesn't like my dress?" Olivia asked as she squatted down in front of her girls. Olivia reached out and caressed Kathleen's hair gently.
"Daddy is going to love your dress, Mama! I promise! You are so pretty... but think about how pretty you are gonna be in a dress." Maureen grinned. Olivia chuckled softly before tugging her eldest daughters into her arms.
"I just adore you two." Olivia smiled, before peppering their blonde curls with kisses.
"You are pretty nice yourself, Mama." Maureen giggled.

Olivia tried on a few dresses before, before taking a break to let her daughters help. As Olivia helped Kathleen pull out once, Olivia caught someone out of the corner of her eye.
She glanced up before swallowing hard.
"Mama?" Kathleen asked.
"I think it's time we-"
"Olivia? Is that you?"
Olivia swallowed hard before straightening her back and looking at the person.
"Please stay away from me." Olivia breathed, as she grabbed Maureen's arm and tucked her body behind her own. Olivia didn't want her to see the girls.
"Liv-"
"Serena, stay away from us. I don't know how anyone would hire a murderer, but I guess it happened... that doesn't mean you gotta be this close to me. Step away." Olivia grumbled.
Maureen shoved her away from Olivia and stomped towards Serena.
"You killed my Mommy. You are a... a bitch." Maureen grumbled, using a word she had only heard a few times before.
"Uh." Serena breathed, as she looked up at her daughter. Olivia smiled and shrugged.
"Are you going to tell Maureen that you didn't drink and drive and kill her mother? Because we all know that isn't the truth." Olivia laughed. Serena swallowed hard before looking back down at Maureen.
"I'm sorry for hurting-"
"Killing. You killed her." Maureen huffed, her face bright red.
"I'm sorry for killing your mother, honey. I-"
"I HATE YOU!" Maureen screamed, before kicking Serena as hard as she could in the shin.
Serena groaned and leaned into the wall as she held her leg.
"Olivia, this kid is poorly behaved." Serena hissed.
"What do you know about that? You were drunk and high my entire childhood. She won't be apologizing, and I can promise you that if I see you again, I'll go straight for your nose. It deserves to be broken like you broke mine before."

Elliot got home late with the babies and found Olivia on the back porch with Maureen. Kathleen was already sleeping, even if she fought it. Now Maureen and Olivia were discussing what had happened today.
"Violence is never the answer, but I will not punish you for what happened this afternoon. You saw her for the first time, and it was hard. Especially since she is the one that took your Mommy from you." Olivia frowned, as she reached out and pulled Maureen to her side.
"Mama, I hate her... for what she did to my Mommy and you." Maureen sniffled. She buried her face in Olivia's side as she cried quietly.
"I hate her too, baby. I loved your Mommy so much."
"And your baby." Maureen breathed, as she leaned back.
"I loved my son so much. He would have been such an amazing big brother to you."
"He'd be older than me?"
"Yeah, I had him in my belly in high school. He would have annoyed you." Olivia chuckled. Maureen smiled before climbing onto Olivia's lap.
They cuddled for a while longer, before Maureen looked over Olivia's shoulder and spotted her father.
"Hi, Daddy."
"Hey, Mo. Can I steal Mama?"
"I guess. I'm gonna climb into your bed. I'll see you soon." Maureen smiled.
Once the little girl was inside, Elliot sank down beside Olivia. He grabbed her glass of wine and took a sip from it before sitting it on the deck.
"You saw Serena today, huh?"
"She worked at the bridal shop I went to. She approached me as if I was her daughter that she loved and saw daily. I tried to hide the girls from her, but Mo wasn't having it."
"What violent act did our kid do?" Elliot breathed.
Olivia took a slow breath before standing. She moved into the yard and laid on the cold ground. They hadn't gotten snow yet, so Olivia didn't have to worry about getting muddy.
Elliot laid beside Olivia before hugging her tightly to his side.
"Liv, what did Mo do?"
"She yelled at Serena and kicked her in the shin. I threatened her and made sure she knew if this happened again, I'd break her nose."
Elliot let out a sigh and stared up at the stars.
"Babe, I'm sorry that you saw her. That she ruined your trip."
"I got banned from that bridal shop." Olivia breathed before laughing. She sat up and her laughing got more intense.
Elliot sat up and looked at her, his eyes full of concern.
"Liv, are you okay?"
"I got banned from a bridal shop because our kid beat up my mother." Olivia laughed. Elliot smiled and chuckled softly, but stopped when Olivia's laughing turned to sobbing.
He said nothing to her. All he did was grab her hand and grip it as she let go of all her pent up emotion.
