Chapter 009

"How convenient," sabi ko nang huminto ako sa tabi ng target car because a red stop light, and a there is a car in front of me.

"Hmm?" narinig kong ungol ng driver since kahina-hinala naman talaga ako, I am riding a motorcycle and I can squeeze in the space in between two cars up on the front, so I smiled and before he could say anything, I pulled my G18 and open fired.

Screams rang out and the bodyguards from the two cars came out and pulled their service pistols before firing at me.

'[Thought Acceleration],' sabi ko sa isipan and everything slowed down as if the whole world is now in slow motion.

"This is why I love long range weaponry," bulong ko as I pull out [Mercy] in its revolver form and shot the bodyguards in the head before hiding behind my stolen motor, and cancelling the skill to make things move in its normal speed, thus, making the bodyguards fall down a second later.

"Tch," patunog ko ng dila when I saw the open car doors and the Belarmino family running away, and with the police sirens ringing nearby, I quickly rode the motorcycle and left the scene, going to an unpopulated place before storing the motorcycle and helmet in my storage skill before cancelling the shadow clone, returning my consciousness to my main body.

"Hmm?" ungol ko when I opened my eyes and saw Sam, lying on top of me, now fully clothed, hugging me, while staring at me.

"You took my first, so, from now on, I am your wife," sabi niya sakin, a direct statement, as if she's not accepting any refusal.

"I see, its a trap," sabi ko and she just smiled and kissed me "Mom said, I should take action," sabi niya "you see, Mom, actually love uncle Alex, but uncle didn't take any actions, so she thought he doesn't have any feelings for her and chose his best friend, Dad, who has loved her but were just waiting for uncle's decision."

"Mom told me, that I shouldn't wait and just take action," sabi niya "this was all staged you know, by mom."

"I see..." sabi ko and smiled before kissing Sam just for show while deep inside me, I am regretting, there were times when I have the chance, to take advantage of Eunice, but I didn't because I don't want to destroy our friendship.

<<We should make Sam happy, I mean we did take a move on her just because she look like Eunice,>> sabi ni Al sakin as I hug Sam.

"I'll make you happy," sabi ko.

"I don't need material wealth," sabi niya "I just want us to be together, I saw it you know, the reason why uncle spoiled you when he was still alive."

"You know that uncle has twin daughters right? You see, they wanted to have material wealth, always asking for this and that, but uncle didn't give it to them, so when uncle's ex-wife left, they followed along because they can get the things they want with their huge fortune, so uncle must be thinking they left them because he didn't give them what they wanted," paliwanag niya.

"Okay," sabi ko, perplexed on the sudden explanation why I spoiled myself with various things, but looking back, the two really did ask for many things, but I didn't give it to them, not because I can't, but because I don't want them to be spoiled.

'I originally plan to go to other world, leave this world behind after making the Belarmino Family despair... but I guess, I'll wait until Sam dies,' sabi ko sa isipan and smiled at her.

"You should sleep on my bed instead of the sofa," sabi ni Sam sakin "and I am still sore, so no more."

"I know," sabi ko at bumangon na, lifting her up before heading to her room to sleep.

The next day, on the breakfast table, I was greeted by Eunice and Jeff's teasing, this two motherfuckers, if they knew I am sure I would be killed instead.

"Xander," tawag ni Jeff sakin "let's talk, just the two of us."

At dahil sa seryosong itsura ni Jeff, we went back to my house and sat on the sofa.

"Didiretsuhin na kita," sabi ni Jeff and threw a newspaper on the center table, featuring the shooting I did yesternight.

"The targets are the Belarmino Family," sabi ni Jeff "its your doing right?" tanong niya making me lean on the couch put my hand on my chin and thought deeply, the effects if I admit or not.

"I won't tell you to stop doing it, but just want to know something and possibly give you a punch in the face," sabi niya "what happened to you, Alex, to the point you even faked your death, how did you look like that?" sabi niya.

"Huh?" sambit ko.

"Stop playing dumb, you may fool Eunice, but I am your best friend, I am feeling doubtful because Alex is still alive, but from the moment I saw you, I already saw your mannerisms, even if you change your appearance, your mannerism gets out, even this way of getting revenge, slowly driving the target to despair before killing him off, it reminds me of Jasper, even when you are thinking about something, you always lean on something and put your hands on your chin, so what the fuck happened, and why are you like that?" tanong niya sakin making me look at the map and saw the bright blue dot on it.

"Haah..." pakawala ko ng hininga "where should I start?" tanong ko.

"From the very beginning," sagot ni Jeff so I told him everything, from the very beginning, from how I was summoned from another world, got killed, got reincarnated after choosing to throw my powers away, got betrayed, got summoned again and regained my powers, how I returned, and planned my vengeance, and what I did, and showed him some magic spells.

"And Sam, is she part of the vengeance, because I stole Eunice from you?" tanong niya sakin.

"No, Sam, is a miscalculation, when I told her to become mine, I accidentally blurted it out because I can see Eunice from her, I originally plan to treat it as a joke, but that happened, so naturally, I will take responsibility," sabi ko.

"I see," sabi niya sabay tayo "clench your fucking teeth," sabi niya sakin.

"Clench. Your. Fucking. Teeth," sabi ni Jeff so I stood up and let him punch me, it didn't hurt though as the damage was rebounded, breaking the bones on Jeff's hand and arms.

"I told you," sabi ko and healed him, reversing the time flow.

"Haah..." pakawala niya ng hininga "make Sam happy you hear me," sabi niya.

"I will," sabi ko.

"Also, there is one thing I learned because of what you did, Eunice, still love you, she was the most impacted from your 'death' to the point she even drove Sam to do those, as if she wants to make up from her regret," sabi ni Jeff.

"I see, no wonder she looked quite tired," sabi ko.

"Alex," tawag niya "after this vengeance, live your life to the fullest, and make my eldest happy you hear me."

"Yes, I will," sabi ko and smiled "Dad."

"... Fuck you, stop calling me dad, it gives me goosebumps," sabi ni Jeff na tinawanan ko lang.
