Rapunzle sat down for lunch next to Eugene. She started to eat a strawberry when Eugene turned to talk to her.
"So how was your morning?" Eugene asked her. Rapunzle swallowed her food.
"Pretty boring, not much happened. Just some busywork." She said. "What about you?"
"The same as you sunshine." Eugene said. Rapunzle was picking up a piece of food with her fork when she dropped the food.
"Oh I almost forgot! Varian opened that vault!" Rapunzle said, picking up her food again. Eugene looked up from his food.
"Oh really? What was in there?!" Eugene said. Rapunzle explained the letter to the best of her ability.
"Well that's, mysterious..." Eugene said, looking confused.
"I KNOW RIGHT!" Rapunzle said with a full mouth of food. "I'm kind of concerned, I hope this Astra person is ok and not destroying everything." Eugene nodded.
"I'm sure everything will be fine sunshine." Eugene said. Rapunzle nodded. Then she jumped as she heard the door slam and someone run into the room.
"RAPUNZLE SOMETHING IS WRONG!" Varian rushed into the room. Eugene stood up.
"Varian what's happening?!" Eugene said. Varian caught his breath and pulled out the butterfly jar, Rapunzle felt a chill go down her spine.
"Varian, what happened..." Rapunzle said, fear in her eyes.
"So do you remember the description of Astra's eye in the letter? It's describes exactly what happened to this butterfly! And I found an eyepatch in some of this black stuff-"
"Wait wait slow down, an eyepatch!? So I was right!" Said Rapunzle said.
"Yes you were! and now we have to find Astra! I know it's her, the fingerprints on the eyepatch matched one of the fingerprints on the letter! " Varian said.
"So how do we solve this? " Eugene said, looking dead serious.
"We find Astra and find a solution!" Varian said. Rapunzle looked very nervous. She took a deep breath and spoke.
"Show me where you found that black liquid. We'll get together some guards to try and locate Astra." Rapunzle said.
