Lead my spirit, sleeping somewhere cold, back home.

You felt it in your gut. That feeling forced you to put your head up and look at the door. That gut feeling was right. The man with black hair and an undercut was standing there with his arms crossed. He was giving you a blank expression; you couldn't read him. He seemed uninterested but intrigued at the same time. With two loose fists, you wiped your tears away and sniffed. "How long have you been standing there?" you asked softly, hoping he didn't hear too much.

"Too long," is all he said. His tone was more serious than Erwin's, but at the same time, he was sarcastic, something Erwin wasn't.

"So? How long do you plan to stand there?"

He started walking in, toward you. "I didn't feel like interrupting you. Being a therapist isn't my thing."

"That's kind of rude," you pouted a little.

"Fine. My name's Levi Ackerman," he extended his hand. He wasn't afraid to give you his name. He knew he could handle anything that came his way. He was one of the few people that didn't fear you at all.

"Okay," you shook his hand.

"Do you not have any manners? What happened to, 'it's nice to meet you?"

"Well, you haven't exactly earned that from me, yet."

He smirked at himself. "Touché."

"Have you seen the nurse? Has she told you anything about Armin?" you changed the subject.

"I saw her walk out of the room, but she didn't tell me anything regarding Arlert."

"Oh, okay," you couldn't hide the disappointment in your voice.

Only you are the life among the dead.

"He's just resting. Don't look so disappointed."

"I'm just a little worried, that's all."

"A little?"

"I'm stepping out for a second. Watch Armin for me."

Don't let me die here.

"As if that wasn't what I was already doing."

You walked past the Levi guy and wondered what his problem was. However, that was only in your head for a few seconds because as soon as you stepped out of the door, you got a call from Eren. You picked up the phone and he explained that he was outside the hospital in his car. He had the tacos you'd asked of him. After seeing Armin, you relaxed a little and realized how hungry you were. You hadn't eaten anything all day and tacos sounded nice. "I'm on my way," you texted Eren.
