honestly you have to agree with me but if you don't that's fine.

the fact that the sexualization of minors is as normalized as it is? that's disgusting. sexualization is creepy, period, but particularly when it's of minors. just because an idol does a sexy or mature concept, it doesn't give you the right to say inappropriate things about them and to them. case in point: ni-ki, leeseo, etc. they're children as compared to their older members, you freaks. i don't care if you're older or younger than them, sexualization is something i despise.

being a "real fan" doesn't mean spending all your time streaming mvs and buying merch and knowing everything about them or whatever. unlike a lot of people, some of us aren't able to do all that. we cannot spend our time and money streaming so obsessively. we can't afford or just simply can't have the official merchandise. and the fact that you're supposed to know all the members' birthdays and homes and number of siblings and whatever is just stupid. being a fan doesn't require you to know such meticulous details. everyone has a different definition of what it means to be a fan but you can't seriously expect us to do all this 💀

people argue too much over which idols are better than which idols. i know this is common knowledge but this is getting ridiculous. being a fan of groups who are so-called "rivals" is a headache to the point that i'd rather stay away from their fandoms altogether. and the fact that half the time the idols are usually friends with each other 🤦 just mind your own damn business. it's your problem if you feel that your bias group is being threatened by another group but you can damn well control your actions and stop attacking others. chances are your bias group is a "threat" to at least one other group. do you want their fans to come after you when your group has done nothing?

idols debuting so young is honestly concerning. yes, i know it's the idols who train early and they want to debut as soon as possible but the fact that the very minimum age to debut is fourteen concerns me. it's their childhood and even if the whole PR-training thing exists, being so young and being scrutinized by the world, it's not really a good thing. working so hard at such a young age is concerning and to top it off, they go through the most difficult years of their school lives while trying to balance a literal career on top of that. it's good that parents are supportive of their dreams, but still...

shipping is ok only to a certain extent. i mean there's nothing to stop you from thinking idols are dating or whatever, not like we can make you stop. but what i mean is the compilations of so-called "proof" and the like. we all know that delulus will believe two idols are together just because of a split second of eye contact lmfao. i don't mind regular shipping like "aw these two are so cute together" because, well, i see where they're coming from sometimes. pairs like mark and haechan or yeonjun and soobin are friendships i adore and if you ship them, i don't care. just...keep it to a sane minimum, please. fanfics and all are fine too but just...don't be so intense about it, is all.

y'all are too obsessed with your favorite song being a b-side and not a title track at all costs. literally who the hell cares if someone's favorite song on the album is the title track. it isn't because it's inevitably going to be the most popular song on the album, it's called an OPINION BASED ON YOUR TASTE. me liking drunk-dazed over fever or run away over angel or devil, etc. doesn't make me a fake fan who doesn't know enough of their songs. it doesn't mean my taste sucks. hell even sunghoon's favorite track is drunk-dazed 💀 chill and learn to accept that some people's opinions will differ from yours.

why do people have a problem with girl groups doing concepts a boy group normally does? ggs and bgs can pull off the concepts equally well in most cases. it's the double standard 😒 i literally don't care if a gg or bg does a tough and heavy concept or a cute and light one. it's all down to if the members can do the concept well, not if they're male or female.

i used to think otherwise but now i believe that solo stans aren't much of a problem. before i get attacked, listen. unless they're doing damage, who cares if they only like a certain member of the group? sure, they can't be called a fan of the group, but that's not something we should care about. i'm not much of a fan of itzy or aespa, but i really like ryujin and ningning. is there something wrong with that? i don't think so. it's not like i'm going around attacking the other members or saying hurtful things about the group and their relationship dynamic or anything. there's a difference between problematic and peaceful solo stans.

i'm all for experimental music but sometimes...the agency overdoes it a little. i'm not going to point fingers but sometimes experimental music just isn't it. i adore experimental music, i'm an nct ult and i stan others who make such music too, but sometimes it just feels like they went overboard. you're free to believe which song/s i'm talking about but i'm not eager to get hunted down lmao.

idols' stage personas and their positions in a group don't equate to who they really are. yes, i mean jay and taehyung and such. it's been years of people saying this, but they are human beings with complex emotions just like us. it doesn't mean the happy pills like sunoo and haechan are all that. it doesn't mean the maknaes are going to stay babies forever. hell, they were never babies, they debut as a bunch of teenagers and you know teenagers do not want to be babied. it's when we are growing up and idols are no different. sure, it's nice to be the youngest but who would want to be treated like a toddler? i really thought people would know better.

male idols do have it better than female idols and don't try to deny it. i am primarily a boy group stan and even i know that. when talking about the best of the dancers and singers and rappers i don't really see female idols come up. i see all the time female idols getting attacked for things when male idols are praised for it. it's so obvious that the double standard is practically ingrained into the industry. for the love of god. female idols are human too y'all.

that's about it for now. i do have a lot to say but i decided to hold back 😂
