Plot (by asianwiki): Lee Dong-Seok (Lee Byung-Hun) was born in a small village on Jeju Island. He now sells stuff from his truck on the island. He is not a sophisticated man. Lee Dong-Seok then gets involved with Min Seon-A (Shin Min-A), who has just moved to Jeju. She has her own story which nobody knows. Choi Han-Su (Cha Seung-Won) was born and raised on Jeju Island, but he moved away to the mainland. He has now returned to his hometown. He is a perfect city man. He meets his first love Jung Eun-Hui (Lee Jung-Eun). She runs a fishing store on the island. She is friends with Ko Mi-Ran (Uhm Jung-Hwa). Ko Mi-Ran has returned to her hometown in Jeju, because she got tired of the tough city life. Lee Yeong-Ok (Han Ji-Min), who moved to Jeju Island, has been a haenyeo (female diver) for the past year. She is a bright person, but many rumors follow her around. She meets Park Jeong-Jun (Kim Woo-Bin), who is a fishing boat captain. He is a man with a warm heart and he is looking for a woman who will not leave Jeju. He falls in love with Lee Yeong-Ok.

My thoughts: okay yk wht, ngl I was gonna drop this drama at like the 15th epi but...I DIDNT BECAUSE IK HOW BEAUTIFUL THE LAST EPI IS AND I DONT REGRET. i especially love the layout for this drama where they hv a few episodes dedicated to allow viewers to understand their background and all the ups and downs in their life. this drama really conveys realism and everything about real life context where they talk abt depression and teenage pregnancy as well. super meaningful and beautiful and although it cld be quite slow, I really recommend you to watch and finish this drama. i completed it by watching the episodes at 1.5x speed and it honestly was so much more comfortable for me to complete. and bonus points is how GORGEOUS jimin's voice is😭his voice really fits for drama osts 🫶🏻🫶🏻I want to thanks every single character out there for being part of this drama. really made me to cry and smile
