Let me explain why his semblance has a spirit form. Every semblance did had a spirit form because their are part of the wielder soul but they cannot to talk to their wielder or show up to them. Every semblance only gives their wielder half abilities of them.
If the person able talk to their semblance. Every semblance had a name for themselves. They will able use a transformation call 'unleash'. When they knew the semblance name they will able to fuse their weapon with semblance make it become one being weapon with Their wielder.
What is a unleash?
When the wielder use 'unleash' they will create a big creature or something else, it will take little more aura than regular before.
It can changed the weapon or creature to another stages with a new name when the wielder run out of aura their weapon and creature will went back to a normal stages.
Ken P.O.V
I rush forward his with black moon on hand. He simply uses his version black moon as shield to block my straight slash. I swing more time then I perform a horizontal slash when I about to make a straight slash then he slashes upward me but I quickly jump back look at my semblance in spirit form
I charge toward his then make a jump slash . He raise sword quickly up block my slash after that I kick at his hand take a way to block my next swing . then I swing down my black moon make his jump leaving his on the air . I swing straight at him only to get block by the big sword but he flew away not far from me.
