Here's chapter 13 like I promised :)

Chapter 13
Jennifer's pov
Yup, its true. I finally quit my job. That same day Rachel told me I should quit, I did. I didn't mean to that day, I was planning on working for at least 2 more weeks! But after school once I got home, the manager from my job called me on my cell telling me that I need to work extra hours because I was 'slacking' and that if I don't work extra, I wouldn't get paid. At that point I had enough and told him that I quit. Sucks for me though because my mom was listening to the whole conversation. Once I hung up, I turned around to find my mom by my door way with an angry and pissed off expression on her face. I know she would get upset but I never thought she would get sooo mad.
(Flashback)
"Hi mom" I spoke
"Who was that on the phone?" She said with anger in her voice.
"Oh that? Umm, it was my manager from my job"
"What did you tell him?"
"Oh that I...uhh...quit?"
"JENNIFER RAMIREZ!!! Do you know what a stupid decision you just made?"
"Mom listen to me! I had to quit, they were treating me like shit! They gave me all the crappy work to do! They barely paid me! Meanwhile the other employees get paid a good amount! And don't think I meant to quit today, I was gonna quit later on when I had enough money to last me a while until I get a new job. A better one!"
"Oh god Jennifer, I took almost half of your money every pay check you got and put it into your bank account so you could pay for college! I know how you are, spending everything you have on clothes, accessories or any other unnecessary stuff. So your father and I decided to take control of half your money. But now that's all messed up since you quit. Now who's gonna pay for college? Cause your dad and I are not, considering that we are on a budget and we can barley afford this house!"
I started to break down in tears. I never knew that they did that. If they would of told me that they saved half of what I earned for college, I would of never complained about working there. I feel so selfish and stupid.
"Oh boy, I'm sorry honey. I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Its just that money is scarce for us right now."
She walked inside my room and sat down next to me on my bed. She grabbed me into a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around her neck, crying into her shoulder. We stood like that for the next 5 minutes until she broke the silence.
"I can help you find another job, its not goning to be be easy though. It may takes months, but your gonna find one, one that pays a little more that your previous one."
"Thank you mom, I really need to find a new job" I said giggling and wiping the tears from my face.
"Your dad and I just want whats best for you."
"I know mom"
"But to help us save money, were going to take your car and cell phone away for 2 weeks."
Nice. She yells at me, comforts me and then tells me this? What a great mom. I felt mad at first but then again, it will help my mom and dad save a little considering how much money I ask for gas and how much I use my phone. I agreed and gave my mom my phone and car keys. I was too upset to call Rach from my house phone and tell her what just happened so I just decided to do my homework and watch movies until I knock out.
(End of flashback)
"That's good Jen!" Rachel said with excitement.
"Not really"
"Why not?"
"Well the reason Ive been receiving little money was because my parents took half of what Ive earned and saved it for college. But since I quit, I can barely pay for college."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that."
"Its not your fault Rach, my mom told me she was gonna help me look for another job."
"That's good, but why cant your parents pay for college?"
"Cause they cant afford it, they can barely afford our house"
"Oh, well if it helps, i'll help you look for a job!"
"Thanks Rach. I should go, my mom wants me to clean my room"
"Alright, bye Jen"
I then hung up from my house phone and went to clean my room.

Rachel's pov
I cant believe this, Jen might not go to college! Both of us got accepted to the same college and were planning to have the best time of our lives! But now that might not happen. I sat there on the bus for what seemed like forever. I soon got off at my stop not caring if paparazzi followed me, if there were any. Gladly there wasn't and I walked peacefully to my house. But then I remembered that I needed to call Zayn! I feel like such an asshole for canceling our date after I told him I was surely going to be there but I did make a promise to my friends. Plus, Brigitte really does need the comfort of her friends after what she has been going through. I scrolled through my contacts and found Zayns number and hit the call button. I held my phone next to my ear and waited for him to pick up.
"Hello?" He spoke
"Hey Zayn, Its Rachel"
"Hey Rachel, did you get home safely?"
"I'm walking to my house right now actually haha thanks for your concern"
"I just don't want a beautiful girl getting harassed by people"
"Haha did you get to your hotel safely?"
"Yes I did, Liam came to pick me up from the bus stop"
"How sweet of him!"
"Yeah haha, so whats up?"
"Oh yeah, um Zayn? I'm so sorry to tell you this but I cant make it on Friday. I had already promised my friends that we were going to have a girls night out that day."
"Oh its alright Rachel. Hey, I have an idea! Why don't they come along with us? I can bring the lads too! It will be so much fun!"
I actually never thought of that. Wow this was a great idea! Meeting the rest of One Direction and hanging out with them? Now this was something out of a dream! Jennifer would be so happy too! So will the rest of the girls!
"That sounds perfect! But are you sure Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis would like to go?"
"Yeah of course, there down for anything."
"Alright then, i'll tell my friends!"
"Great! This shall be fun."
"Ok, see you on Friday Zayn."
"Bye Rach, see you Friday."
We both then hung up. Wow, the girls will be shocked!
