Alone at your rest day with no one else but your cats...

Tricia's POV
I never thought I would be able to find someone who would love me for who I am. Back then I was afraid of being unloved, especially when the most precious man in my life passed away.
He was gone when I just turned 18, I thought that the world is cruel. All the jolly nights, endless laughter and his warmth of love was gone in a split second. He was my first love, always and forever will be.
It was the first week of February and campaign season is starting na talaga. We'll be going to Bicol tomorrow for a Kick-off Rally on the 8th. Syempre the whole family would be there to support mama.
When Mama ran as a Vice President, I thought yun na yung huli kong campaign na pag-eeffortan, not when mama decided to run as a Presidential candidate. Although we don't like the idea at first, but decision yun ni mama to serve the country and we cannot stop her from doing that. After all, the family's support system is unexceptional, as well as my support system.
I was packing my bags for a long trip when my phone vibrated.

This man never fails to show how much he loves me and my family. I couldn't be more proud to have him. He's even willing to sacrifice his time for me, what a green flag.
*Love calling
"Helloooooo loveeee" a very energetic voice greets me on the other line. "Hi, bakit gising ka pa?" I asked. "I'm excited na kasi eh, can I go there na?" His lovely voice when he wants something.
"Seryoso ka ba? It's literally 11pm, maaga ka nalang pumunta." I insisted, delikado at baka atukin sa byahe. "Hi boss, gabi ka na." "Opo, maaga po campaign ni Tita VP bukas eh." "Sige na akyat ka na dun, ingat kayo ha!"
"Uy sinong kausap mo?" He was talking to someone kasi. "Si kuyang guard, andito na 'ko sa elevator hehe" geez this guy! "Wha-" dali-dali kong in-end yung call at napatakbo sa vanity at nag-ayos. I look so haggard na, it's almost midnight na no.
*Knocks*
"May ineexpect ba kayong bisita ngayon? Alas-onse na ah. Teka ako na magbukas ng pinto." Mama asked, pero hindi ko masabi na ako yung may bisita. Diko rin kaso ineexpect ma, I'm sorry.
"Hi Tita VP." He said, while waving his hand. What a cutie. "Oh anak, bakit andito ka? Late na ah." Tanong ni mama while signaling him to enter. "Pasensya na ah, pupunta kasi kaming Naga tomorrow for the Kick-off rally kaya medyo magulo dito ngayon." she added.
I felt happy seeing how welcoming my family is towards him. He immediately walk towards me and smiled. "Actually tita, nagsabi po ako kay Tricia na sasama po ako sa Naga. Kung okay lang po sainyo." He said as he put his arms around me. "He wants to support you daw Ma." I added.
"Sure ka bang ako ang susuportahan mo? O babantayan mo lang si Tricia ko?" Pabirong tanong ni mama sabay tingin saakin na parang nang-aasar. "Bantay sarado ka pala Patty eh. Pano ba yan Jill, sinong third wheel saating dalawa nyan?" Pang-aasar ni ate Aiks, talagang dinamay pa si Jill. They blth laighed while looking at me. Naghahampasan pa.
"Kumalma nga-" i was supposed to calm them down "Parang ganun nga po, bonus na lang po na mabantayan ko si Tricia. Pero andun po talaga ako para suportahan ka Tita." He walk towards mama and acts as if yayakapin niya ito. When Mama gently pushed him away.
"Doon kana, akala ko pure intent mong suportahan ako. Si Tricia pala." Oh my God mama, Leni "matampuhin" Robredo. "Tita, joke lang po. Kaya nga po ako andito para sa'yo eh." He still insists of hugging her pero Mama continued to refuse. Para silang mga bata na naghahabulan at nagtatawanan sa condo.
"Tama na, hinahapo na ako. Magpahinga na muna tayo at maaga pa tayong babyahe bukas. Charles anak, may dala kang kotse?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ni mama pagkatapos umiinom ng tubig. Hiningal siya eh. "Yes po Tita, if pwede po ako saakin na po sumabay si Tricia." "Sige, isakay mo nadin si Ate Aika mo. Bantay yan sainyo. Si Jill nalang ang kasabay ko."
"Ma, bakit mo naman ako gagawing third-wheel netong dalawa?" Pabirong tanong ni ate Aiks. "Baka kasi hindi sa daan nakatingin yung nagmamaneho, baka sa katabi lang. Osiya, magsipahinga na kayo, maaga pa tayo." Natatawang sabi ni mama habang paakyat na sa kwarto.
"Dito nalang ako sa sofa magsleep, saglit nalang din naman yung oras na hihintayin." Nakatitig niyang sabi saakin habang hawak niya yung kamay ko. What in the world did I do to deserve this? :( He's too pure. I just smiled at him and asked "Are you sure? Hindi ba magiging uncomfy sayo? Samahan muna kita dito, di pa naman ako inaantok." I tapped the sofa, signalling him to sit beside me which he instanly did with excitement. "Anywhere with you is the most comfortable place in the world." Bulong niya sa tenga ko which gives me butterflies. Agad naman akong umiwas ng tingin pra hindi niya mapansin ang pamumula ko.
Charles' POV

Just as I was talking to the most beautiful human being, nakatulog siya. Napagod ata mag-pack ng mga gamit niya. Iniayos ko lang siya ng higa and sat beside her. I wasn't feeling sleepy because I slept before going here naman.
As I was staring at her, all I can see was the person I fell in love with. She was the most genuine person I met, kaya I always give her the best treatment because she deserves it. Napaka-selfless niyang tao, always looking out for her family. I always try to be the best man who always look after her.
I didn't know that time passed by so quickly, because I was just staring at her while she's sleeping.
"Baka matunaw naman ang anak ko sa titig mong yan." Got back to my senses when I heard tita's voice. "I was so lucky to have her Tita, she's my everything." I said, still looking at her angelic face. "Kami ang maswerte sa'yo anak, my Tricia became more expressive when she met you. She became happier. Huwag mo sana siyang sasaktan ha?" Sabi ni tita sabay tapik sa balikat ko. I assured her that won't happen. "Hinding-hindi po tita." "Osiya, gisingin mo na yan para makapag-ayos na."
Ginising ko na siya gaya ng utos ni Tita. As usual, she's grumpy about waking up early. "Love, bangon na. Prepare ka na daw sabi ni Tita." I sweetly whispered. Agad naman niyang isinampal ang palad niya sa mukha ko at tinulak ako palayo. "Five more minutes please" she angrily said.
"Tricia, bumangon ka na. Iiwan ka namin" with that strong voice, napabangon nalang siya na parang zombie. "Ma, I hate waking up early" kunwaring pagdadabog niya habang papunta sa banyo upang mag-ayos.
"Sure ka bang kaya mong tiisin yang mga ganyang traits ni Tricia?" Tita suddenly asked me. "Yes po tita, i'd love to." I answered without hesitation.
